I assume playing Dio's Holy Diver full volume on loop is mandatory when using this build?

Funny to see that after more than a year we stillhave the same fucktards with the same arguments.
And how does this statement not apply to your original post (or any since)...?
Because it's the internet, so Twoflower is clearly the only one here is is absolutely, 100%, without question correct.

Things will not get much better after RoS hits either. There will be a little run while leveling, and then you will find some quick updates at 70, but i give it a week or two at max before we are in the same position again, that we have tons of drops and none are upgrades.
    Obvious troll is obvious.

Of course you won't find updates regularly if you already own items from the top 1% of those available, that's how maths works.

Frankly I suspect a lot of it comes down to people having no idea what a beta actually is, and I partly lay the blame for this at the feet of developers as typically these days beta actually means "pretty much the version of the game that is going to ship, we're just using you to stress test so aren't even going to wipe the game" rather than an in development build where literally everything is subject to evaluation and change.

I also saw quite a bit of QQ from the changes to rift keys, which was quite funny.

Maffia posted a message on BOA's purpose is bullshit
    Quote from Kiwimustang67

BOA does not worry me, if I find legs I will use them for all my characters and if I don't need it no big deal, I will just vend or sell. But what is annoying is once again the devs just stated that the designers love the idea of killing monsters to get loot, kill more monsters and get more loot how ever they have partially killed that idea by dropping leg rates because of gambling legs. I DO WANT TO FIND LOOT but how can I if the leg drop is poor, I don't intend to gamble my ass off just to MAYBE get legs. I have not had the chance to try gambling and so therefore I do not know what is involved, does it cost gold and mats? and if you do how often you run out before you need to run out and get more? BOA is just one part of the over all tuning problems at the moment, there has to be a balance but finding loot should be the biggest priority to pleasing most of the player base. It is like "What came first? the chicken or the egg?" we need loot before we can start worrying about BOA.
BOA in and of itself doesn't worry me, it's the effect it has on drop rates that does, my main fear since it was announced is that leg/set drop rates are either going to be to low so you don't feel you'll have the chance to complete any set ever or find that 1 build defining item you've been after for a year or too high so that leg/set seem to be raining from the sky and leg/set items just become the normal, in both instances the gameplay will feel unrewarding and tedious.

If this was a sensible thread I give a proper answer, but seriously you are using the design of the in-game menus as a reason not to buy the game? Quite obvious you've created a thread just to moan.

It's a bit convoluted. Also, there will never be and should never be a way to engage someone in any pvp activity without their prior consent. This means they should knowingly open themselves to pvp before joining or creating a game.

It should never be possible to kill someone in pvp that wants to avoid pvp. It should never be possible to grief someone by forcing them to leave a game with threat of pvp.

Any pvp fight should consist of two or more people who are willing and ready to engage in pvp.

Why is everyone entitled to the entirety of the loot?

Because the basic idea of an RNG-based loot system is that everyone has a shot? By definition we are ALL entitled to feel like any particular item is within reach. Part of "feeling like any particular item is within reach" demands that, in case of bad luck, we have some kind of recourse. That's what Gheed was, that's what Haedrig was supposed to be, that's what crafting in PoE is. Even though these systems are all based in RNG, they give you the "ok you picked up 40 yellows so now you can make one more new one of your choosing" level of control that makes it feel not quite as bad. They provide recourse against being subject to pure RNG. That's exactly what trading does.

18 months into D3 I've still yet to find ANY Mempo. By the time I find one it won't be remotely relevant. So, yes, i think people should have a REASONABLE shot to find quality items before they become irrelevant and if that means I have to trade 12 Lacuni Prowlers (because that's how RNG has treated me) for one Mempo of Twilight, so be it. I fail to see how that undermines the legitemacy of drops or how it alters anyone's overall enjoyment of the game. But don't be so crass or naive to try to lecture me about how it's good for the game that people have gone 18, or more, months without finding a Mempo. That's the kind of bad luck that makes people give up, not the kind of thing that adds long-term incentives to the game.

Imagine that your luck is so bad that the hand you're dealt is only Firewalkers. You never find any other set/legendary item. Ever. It's completely unlikely that that would happen, but what would your opinion be? Would you still be spouting off about people feeling entitled, or would you be on the forums raging that other people are getting sweet items and you're only ever dropping Firewalkers? My bet is that you'd feel slighted by RNG, but here you are calling people "entitled" for wanting ways to minimize the bad effects that RNG can have.

Online requirement is to encourage people to play together (regardless of the loot/trading situation), and to prevent hacks/piracy.

That's what they keep telling us. I don't buy it.

Ok, enlighten me. What's your theory?

The only purpose of having ONLY online mode is to enforce DRM. I just don't buy the other reasons you mentioned. Blizzard shouldn't care for hacks in singleplayer or local multiplayer games. I personally don't care that there is no offline play, because I use to play everything online anyway, but the reasons behind the missing offline option are obvious to me.

First of all, I said piracy. DRM is way to fight piracy. (Arguably not the best way, but that's another discussion). Second, they absolutely should care about hacks in any area of the game. And opening up the server-side code to make offline possible would only make it easier to hack the online version of the game, this has been discussed to death already.

For me the absolute ideal solution is to be able to freely trade with anyone on my friends list and in my clan provided they've been there for 7+ days.

    Pros:
    • No timestamps means I can give any item to anyone that otherwise qualifies - none of the "sorry, you weren't my friend when this dropped" shit.
    • A delay (in this case, 7 days) would prevent people from dropping/adding friends/clans just to trade. If it's lengthy enough, you'd be BETTER OFF just sticking with your existing friends/clan than trying to find that new friend who has your item. We know this to be at least somewhat true because buyouts on the AH were, in many cases, more popular than bids. People want their shit NOW, not seven days from now!
    • Reduces "mass" trading without infringing on trading among friends who choose to do so.
    • Does not force people into playing four-player games to expose themselves to more drops.
    • No ridiculous two-hour window to come to an agreement and execute a trade.
    Cons:
    • The delay (in this case, 7 days) does feel quite artifical and means that you cannot trade with a LEGITEMATE friend immediately.
    • Still benefits people who have more friends as compared to those who have fewer friends.

Kieble posted a message on Wizard DPS / EHP Calculator
    Hey all,
I'm a programmer have done a lot of Blizzard calcualtors. I did a CTC and a Haste Breakpoint calculator for WOW and have been working on a DPS/ EHP Calc for D3 that will do both at once and give some nice information breakdowns. I think I have finished Wizard section of it, including talents. I was wondering if anyone would mind testing it out. It has been updated for 1.0.5 so EHP will be lower than you saw before, and monster levels are 63 automatically so that will lower your EHP slightly too. Check it out let me know if you have any C&C, anything is helpful.

    http://www.unyieldingvalor.com/D3/calcTool.php

    Instructions for use:
Type in your battle tag, hit load heroes.
Select your hero and click Submit Hero.
You will now see breakdowns of your DPS and EHP.

The benefits of this over other calculators:
You can compare multiple items at once.
You can see EHP and DPS increases at once.
    You can view non-regular buffs.
Breakdowns that aren't on most sites.
