posted a message on Diablo 3 - Release Date Rumor
to all my diablo fans friends.

we've been waiting for almost 2 years + since the day of announcement for D3, and almost 10 years since D2.

stop giving some credits to rumors has no any kind of solid proof evidence.
Let it go, and drop it, don't make a big fuss about.

Believe it or not, Bliz already feel finally they HAVE to give us an announcement date ASAP. besides they know now they push their fans to the edge.

so.. it is almost matter of a month or two, tops! and you will have your copy.

    Have happy gaming.

Don't even mention SC2 battle.net! I'm still furious about how crappy the custom map listing system is. The chat channels and everything is terrible. Battle.net 2.0 interface is definitely the weak point of Blizzard.

since when bliz cares about chat system preference? if u do care use proper one as msn etc

Having crippling wave, cyclone strike, mantra of healing , lashing kick, dashing strike plus exploding palm consider to be noob monk for hardcore style?
    Or
Having fist of thunder, deadly reach, mantra of healing, blinding flash, lashing kick plus breath of heaven consider to be noob monk for hardcore style?

Do you want to be carrier/supporter Monk? or Damage burst Monk and ignore the fact you have to get direct heal?

that is really worrying me loads in hardcore..

    advice?

So it seems don't expect a release date before 10 march. Maybe they annouce it at Cebit. Why they should not? Anyway how you turn it the release date is getting closer.

I don't see any big rebuilds happening only polishing. If there is something by remade again then I expect a release date in april.

CMS wil be in hannover? If so, i bet they might give a release date there.

    " Soontm "

I've wondered for a while now, what's the deal with this whole: Soontm thing? I mean you can't actually trademark the word soon, so why are Blizzard employees always adding a trademark sign to it?

    Soon we will know.

More and more i just dont trust this Jay Wilson. Reminds me of the politicians, always talking never progressing.

Some things sound good on paper but turn out less interesting than expected in practice. Its kind of what happens if you test internal builds and you realize something is off. You either finish the product even though you don't agree with it, or you go make it better. Since there was no solid commitment made, why should Wilson and his crew rush out the product if they have doubts about it?

Why you and other folks deny the fact what bliz is doing is wrong? and you are on their side? i.e you can't say it is coming soon, then rephrase it by saying Q1, then rephrase it by saying there has to be 2 month window time from date of announcement of the release date.
to me saying anything about window time releasing time as Q1 is a commitment, and Q1 with 2 month window time from date of announcement is away from Q1 time window. So please stop re-acting as you support them cause they have to POLISH or RE-MAKE what they think is wrong and deliver the game with good shape, hence there is nothing is perfect, and thats why they call it patch files every time and then.

Hope i made my point of view clear.

Not really. What "other side" are you talking about? We're talking about a developer making a game. They AREN'T doing anything wrong, either illegal or in any sort of unethical practice. They've never given a firm release date. They've never committed. They've only ever said they've tried. You and others are taking it way too personally that Blizzard is working on this game the way they've always worked on games.

They've used the term "soon" a lot, so much so, that the joke Soon TM is older than WoW. It was used back in the days of waiting for Diablo II, which was 2 years "late".

This is nothing more than a sense of self-entitlement at work here. These are irrational demands being made and turning this into an issue of sides is kind of silly. We aren't discussing the societal ramifications of a potential censorship bill, or the political landscape of different principles and issues.

We are discussing the development and inevitable release of a video game. A video game. If this is such an important issue that you feel the need to discuss what is "wrong" or that there are sides, it's time to start examining your life priorities. Video games aren't important. They are fun diversions.

And don't get me wrong. I love Diablo. I can't wait for this game. But I also know that, as Blizzard is a company, they are keen to release it to make money, like all companies do. What possible motivation could there be for Blizzard to hold on to their product if not to fine tune it?

So again, this is not the cure for cancer. If for some reason Blizzard just up and scraps Diablo III, the world won't end. You won't die. Nothing will really change. And there will be plenty of other video games for you to worry about.

i was so close to hit my head on the wall while reading what you are saying; my only comment u are so serious, and u won't understand what i meant.

Hope i made my point of view clear.

You did. I hope you understand that a patch which changes things like the core stats, it requires a complete wipe of all the items that have those stats that are in circulation. Do you have any idea what the forums would be like if people who spent countless hours farming gear, or anyone who used either the Gold- or RMAH suddenly lost eveything? Sure, they could try changing the stats without trying to wipe like they did in D2. If you can remember, I'm sure you know that when items start having 300+ core stats on them, we have a balancing problem. Its not even like Blizzard could use a ladder reset to clear those items out of ladder mode, because that doesn't exist.

And what exactly is it that Blizzard is doing wrong when every single one of the games they release is a critical success? A game being delayed isn't exactly new to this industry, and Blizzard in particular has an outstanding track record despite also having the longest development times. Surely there can't be a correlation between the work ethics and their success, right?

I'm not saying that I'm enjoying the wait either, but I've played many games similar to Diablo that were great, but never able to keep me occupied for as long. I think that speaks for letting Blizzard develop their game as they see fit, don't you?

i agree with u, ur point is valid
