posted a message on How popular is season 18? A naive data analysis attempt.

2.6.1 was highly popular because it was the greatest balance patch so far.

    D4 biggest threat is botting.

D4 devs have to understand that botting needs to be killed by design when competition is involved.

Yes, but aren't those I mentioned also quite bad :) ?

I would hate HOTS looking Diablo 4.

    D4 threats:

    - Mechanics more child friendly than D3

    - Graphical direction more child friendly than D3

    - Modern pay mechanics

    - Consol based UI

    D4 possibilities:

    - Closer to D2 atmosphere

    - a meaningful endgame outside timed rifts. Neither D2 nor D3 have this. D3 lacks endgame playable campaign and D2 lacked difficulty after Hell.

    - Best case scenario: designers find an innovative way to prevent players looking up builds from the internet (preventing copy-paste leaderboards). (Very customized and unique builds, very unique drops).

    - Runeword comeback

    D4 needs to remain:

    - Fluidity and smooth gameplay of D3

    - Also single play possibility (not forced multiplay)

posted a message on D4 classes

Probably Druid and Amazon (some kind of) are quite a strong guesses. Also at least one or two completely new class. And probably they don't have guts to drop Barbarian as he have now been in D2 and D3.

Good to be using Diablofans again!

I am slowly starting to embrace the thought of getting Diablo 4 someday. I am not expecting it to be revealed in Bliizzcon 2019. It might, but I won't launch any false expectations. However, I am still wondering, what happened to those Druid clues? Were they really teasing it for D4 in D3? It's possible. But they also couldn't announce D3 Druid DLC at Blizcon 2018 as they released D3 Switch at the same time making it too soon for the new players (to pay for it). That leaves a small chance, Druid is still coming for the D3. At this point though, they might want to spare that class to D4. So... not expecting anything for D3 either. Someday... luckily I haven't burnt myself with D3 yet.

posted a message on 2018 in Review: The year that changed everything?

They can take all the time they want with D4 but I wish they were more straight about D3 future - is that Druid coming or not? I've lost my hope naturally after that hideous Blizzcon but hell, even Heroes of the Storm got straight talk so why not D3?

posted a message on LoN finally relevant again - your plans?

I've waited for years to have LoN patched to be able to handle at least T13 with great variety of builds and now we are finally getting the buff.

What kind of builds are you going to try with LoN?

First I'm trying a LoN Heaven's Fury. I know it's not going to blast to the leaderboards but I frankly do not care. The gameplay is the same after T13 so as long as I tore through the T13 I'm going to push as far as I can get.

I know Convention of Elements should be used but I prefer to be weaker and not use it if doesn't fit to my build's flavor.

I'm quite excited! Tell me about your plans.

posted a message on 2.6.4 PTR - Season 16 - Patch Notes up | INSANE BUFFS oO

    Good things:

    -LoN buff

-Primal item when clearing GR70 first time

-After all, this patch narrows the gap of different builds

    -None doubling theme

    Disappointed:

    - No item buffs

    - No new content

Better than nothing but it's clear they are very afraid of breaking the game by adding anything interesting.

Moddable D3 would be so awesome. For the very least a quick modder could fix the balance issues.

I think they should at least open up the future of D3 if nothing else.

posted a message on Diablo Immortal

On the very best case scenario, like Brandy said: they wanted to wait that also Switch players have gotten their copy of D3 before they want to tell about new things for D3..."We are not done with D3."

    Possiblities to be revealed soon

    1. New theme and cosmetics

    2. New content patch or balancing at least

    3. Druid DLC

    4. Expansion

I'm feeling fool for still believing in #3.

Horadric Retreat confirmed to be Switch related:

Horadric Retreat (Hall D – Diablo III Demo Area): Drop by our open play area with your own Nintendo Switch to meet new friends, play with our developers, and be a part of the great Diablo community!

The only possible area left for D2 HD/D4/D-fps demo is the empty space next to the main stage.

Luckily only week or so to wait... My hype train is off the trails and burning inside. Well, at least we are ready for the worst.

I took that flashing D3 logo and converted it into a negative image.... but no, still the normal logo ;)

Still remember D3 Chronicles "leak"? But yeah that most likely (97%) was fake.
