Hey, welcome Zen. I will be revisiting the Monk this season, haven't played that class in over a year.

My guess is that we see a new character class pack approximately every 9-12 months. I say 9 because we also get 2 stash tabs with the pack and (only a guess) the opportunity to earn 3 more over the next 3 seasons before the next pack releases. But most likely every 12 months so they can always announce it at a Blizzcon. Maybe 3 or 4 of these until they are ready to announce the next project.

I wish that was true, but I really don't think there will ever be a real expansion to D3. It's done. I'm guessing we will get a few more character packs over the next couple years with some more QoL stuff and random new zones and upgraded legendaries thrown in every few patches to string us along until they are ready to announce whatever new title that is in the works.

You know when you buy a box of band-aids and there are those little tiny useless ones in the box. This blizzcon was like taking 3 or 4 of those and slapping them on a severed limb.

They are already convinced that they need not worry about adding micros, signaling acceptance or not won't change a mind decided. Just about every gaming company out there now (even Indies) has some form of mtx, loot box or pay gate put into their games anymore. Is it right? That's a personal question for every single gamer to decide on their own. If you are fine spending your money on pixels so be it. if not, don't hit the buy button. But in the end, the more that is spent on a game the more future content it is likely to see. That's how business works.

I got excited when they announced rune words were making a comeback, but then saw how they actually functioned and it was just a big MEH. Hopefully this was just thrown together for the demo at Blizzcon and will get an extensive passover and rework before launch.

I am good with mtx being put into the game. I always thought they should have been added to D3 as well, they added the Diablo shop, why not sell some stuff in it? As long as it's purely cosmetic what's the problem. Hopefully they will keep the pricing reasonable on things though, GGG went a little overboard on the pricing of most of their MTX in PoE.
I would definitely buy additional stash space or character slots, being that I am a virtual hoarder.

I am going with 5/23/23.

Goldman Sachs analyst talks of new Diablo title and Overwatch 2 in 2019 and 2020 respectively,

All aboard the hype train!

I will be doing until I finish chapter 4 and then will delete character. Only reason is to get the portrait frame and banner on the off chance that someday I might care to use them. I am hoping that with the Necro release that will give us the opportunity to acquire three more stash tabs through seasons to fill out the third page in the stash.

The chest only spawns from March 24-31. It will not spawn anytime before then at all.

Got this on my 6th attempt upgrading rare in cube.

Anything you get on ptr does not roll over to regular live servers.

It procs when your character actually gains a level(1-70) or paragon level. The higher you go in paragons the less the secondary effect is triggered. I think that needs to be reworked to something different imo.

I'm not confused at all, after watching the video again, I'm even more convinced that the data mined Kanai recipe has been scrapped. Infuse Legendary power is just a cooler way of saying Reconstitute. There is no new recipe coming, at least in this patch. Maybe in the next, I have no idea, and neither does anyone else posting on here for that matter. I hope they do though.

I don't really remember what he talked about at Blizzcon, trying to forget it even happened . Wasn't the the cube recipe something like remove the power from the cube and putting it back on the item. That would fall under "infusion" by my meaning of the word. I hope it's not, because I really like the idea of adding one items power to another. It would open huge build options, especially if you could also add them to set items.

I don't know if there's been any new data mine, but we should take data mined info with a grain of salt anyways. That recipe that was data mined may be the one Wyatt said was pulled for all we know.
I hope not, I think would be great if we could put powers on different items.

I'm not to sure there is going to be any new Kanai cube recipe, the new patch notes released yesterday are no longer showing any mention of it at all. It would be awesome though if it was implemented.
