No kidding. None of the main websites have any info but this kind person with a total of 3 posts has chosen to share their beta keys with us. People who go to links like this are the same one's who will be screaming on the forums later that they were hacked and how Blizzard sucks because of it.
Diablo is a gear farming game. Act 2 Inferno gear does drop in Act 1... just at a lower chance. Get Act 2 gear that you don't need? Use the trade forum to go get the gear you do need, sell it for 20 million on the AH and buy the 20 million piece that you do need. If you're tired of farming in Act 1... you're going to be tired of farming in Act 2. And what do you think will happen at the end of Act 4? Some miracle? No. Nothing changes after this so either you can enjoy farming in Inferno or not.
You're farming gear. You're just getting caught up in the color of the item. Is the fact that the name is blue rather than yellow or any other color seriously that big of a hurdle for you to get past? If they changed the color blue to purple or red and told you that those drops are now Superdooper Gear would anything change? To be fair they probably shouldn't have had "types" of drops at all and just made it all "gear".

Maybe a stupid question, but did he register with the right code? The game comes with a couple of codes that you can give away (Starter Edition) so that people can try the game. Maybe he didn't install using the code from the game case itself.
