I have to believe they will buff other things to make other elements better.
Nope... They've already stated the Fire is the intended "more powerful" build... Which is the reason why it's the most commonly found %Elemental Dmg on gear... I wish they'd do something with Lightning too... It's awfully underused :(
Can you source your quote please? from the Blue response I saw last week, they said that all elements would be equal.
Have you been playing the game and reading Blue Posts since RoS launched? It was stated not long after the release (as people also found out that the gear with %Fire Dmg was easier to obtain and that more singular pieces with %Fire Dmg were available) that the Fire Element was intended to be the "most powerful". We can clearly see that with the current Meta-Game.

Another proof of that is they said they wouldn't make a "Cindercoat" for all elements... Which is also quite revealing...

I'd rather see them make all elements equal to be honest, I'd really like to see this officialized (I haven't seen the post you are referring to).
I don't think they have said that they intended fire to be the most powerful. I have never seen blue post like that. It just how things turned out.

The question to ask is what role in customization charm would fill that is not already filled by leg items? Maybe some cool/wierd secondary effect that normally wouldn't be picked over dmg boosting effect from legs so it won't have to compete slots with powerful legs?
Exactly that, what If I dont want to use a Fate of the Fell as my 2Her for Holy shotgun? Well now I can because I just got a charm that gives me 2 additional rays of heaven's fury.

How Bout a charm that rolls the Thunderfury Proc? Now I can use whatever weapons I want that are the best.

How bout a charm that rolls the royal Grandeur ring bonus? The possibilities are endless, and by putting the orange texts on the charms, it frees up what gear you need to make certain builds work, because right now, there are a lot of builds that Require certain legendaries to make work, and that doesnt have to be
I think the idea has a problem though. It will significantly reduce the special feeling of those legendaries a lot.

I think that special effect like the one on Nemesis bracer is something that could be moved to charm slot.

I hate this change really. I always think Archon is the iconic ability of arcane build. Changing this kinda indirectly makes Arcane worse by making fire even stronger. Fire is already very strong. They don't need anymore buff.

My original point is kinda lost in this thread too. My point is with Vyr set you get all effects from all runes right? Every rune gives you non damage skill except Combustion(Arcane Destruction) rune with Arcane build which is now able to take full advantage of the rune fully because it will get boosted by +ele dmg will not be able do that anymore with new change. Fire will be the only spec which unfairly get the best Archon with Vyr set because it will get all runes PLUS combustion rune will be boosted by +ele dmg. No spec get that except fire. Is there any reason to make fire stronger?

This is a NERF to arcane build if what I wrote above is how it works. 1 rune gets weaker for arcane. Honestly, I don't tink other elements need Archon. They just need their skills buffed. Archon should remain iconin arcane skill imo.

I mean with Vyr set, Fire build will unfairly have the most powerful Archon. Every element get all rune effects so that mean the explosion will be boosted by only + fire dmg. Other elements won't get to boost the explosion damage.

The point you brought up too. People who are using pure power rune as arcane build are fucked.

That means Fire build will have the most powerful Archon! cuz fire rune is the only rune that does dmg.

Blizz is changing some of Archon runes's element. I am wondering how it will work with Vyr set. What dmg type you will get if you have Vyr set? Arcane Destruction rune for example would be changed to fire so that means arcane build will get indirectly nerfed with this too. I know this is not final but I wanna start a discussion.:D

When you guys do rift, you clear the whole rift or just leave after you kill the guardian?

I think people may do T5+ with quite a lot of CC like frost nova and black hole maybe. They already have high CDR in WoW build anyway.

They kill that fast without taking dmg? I think T4 is starting to hit hard.

Quite wierd that people think WoW will let you farm T5-T6 efficiently. It's not the case for me. I play arcane melee WoW build(I don't like fire) but I am still farming T3(it's very fast though). T4 is stretching my toughness a bit due my build which is melee with 0 cc skill. I can do T4 though just not as fast.
