It really seems like that are a lot of server problems and RMAH bugs at the moment. They definitely won't release the game till every single kink is worked out. With the RMAH coming out with the game there is a lot for them to lose here. They won't release until everything is perfect.
Skyrim is my first oblivion game and I must say its pretty awesome I thought it looked dumb until I saw a lets play and i havent been able to put it down. Though I doubt ill play it again after I beat the main story
Pay any kind of real money for them ? No. I would like to get them by doing a special event or quest.
I'm sure it depends, there could be an item implemented that you just HAD to have. Something that you really favor, you may not be able to think of it now. But I'm sure this could be said about everyone. As long as the price wasn't ridiculous that is. Must be reasonable
Don't hate on the wings. There's a huge difference between pink ponies and having Tyriel style wings which is totally in line with the Diablo mystique.
On the flip side, I don't think vanity pets would stand out in Diablo 3. But if they ever do sell anything, it might be weapon glow effects. perhaps each purchase allows you to put a special glow or dmg effect on a weapon. Not game breaking, high popularity, and ... middling money grubbing tactic, I think I can live with it.
Ooooooh glow effects on weapons, now that I like! Honestly I really didn't want anything or to see anything until I read that. Good stuff
