Stretchystrong posted a message on "One of the Chosen" Feat of StrengthThere has been a new QQ daily about the game, which yesterdays was about the "anime" being "not great." Today's QQ seems so serious that it will probably take up two whole days of QQ, and it's the most arbitrary and trivial of all the QQ's yet. I will honestly go into every public game I can find and slam down my unique sigil banner relentlessly to see how salty it gets. Hopefully by the time the game comes out, all these crybabies can learn to be potty trained, put on their big boy pants, and forget about it so I won't feel the need to do this. Blizzard didn't murder your family and make you watch, nor did they lie to you. So stop acting like they pissed in your cheerios. If this affects your life in any serious way, I recommend a psychiatrist. My roommate, just got his masters, send me a PM and I can get you a discount and we will get your mental deficiencies fixed.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion -

1. The whiners ignore any posts with logic and reason in them. (See my blizzcon post from earlier)
2. The whiners are insanely weak... really blizz slapped you in the face?
3. The whiners voted probably voted for Obama since nothing is fair and they want everything that someone else has.
4. The whiners are the same people who probably bought items from websites in D2 because drops weren't fair.
5. I have an account with feat of strength and leet sigil for sale if you douches want it LOL. -

Not everyone got to goto blizzcon and they gave feat of strength for going including portaits and decals. No one cared.
While in D3 you get a silly sigil and people are crying in outburst over it LOL. -

fromage2323 posted a message on Closed Beta Players - "One of the Chosen" Feat of StrengthI just want the world to know, that i have a sandy, sandy, sandy, sandy vagina. And that i am outraged that i wont get this perfectly meaningless footnote attached to my account. So that i may sit in public chat channels, hoping my profile will be inspected, and have others stare jealously at an achievement called "One of the Chosen" and recognize me for the very special and cool person that i am. Thanks blizzard, you have ruined my life. I no longer see a point in living.Posted in: News & Announcements

Closed Beta Players - "One of the Chosen" Feat of Strength
It looks like people who were invited into the closed beta will be getting a feat of strength along with a unique sigil after logging in for the first time.

In order to be eligible for "One of the Chosen," you must have had a Diablo III closed beta license attached to your Battle.net account (it isn't necessary to have downloaded or logged into the beta itself). Please note that players who participated only in the Open Beta Weekend, but were not invited to the closed beta, will not receive this Feat of Strength. -

JudgeCarnifex posted a message on Mad Bomber BuildThis is a build I am tinkering with. I am trying to synergize BBV+rain dance with Vision Quest.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
I would need some life steal on my gear, and some +radius on my gear.
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#eiPkjQ!hTU!YcbZbZ
Haunt+Grasping Spirit: Good DoT, 30% Slow, should work well on bosses.
Acid Cloud+Corpse Bomb: 200% damage, don't know the AoE yet. No DoT, just a 200% Ka-BOOM!
Wall of Zombies+Unrelenting Grip: DoT + Slow, good for CC.
Mass Confusion+Paranoia: CC, +20% damage for 12 seconds.
Fetish Army+Legion of Daggers: Good Damage, CC, distracts enemies while I attack. Synergy with BBV, makes them attack faster. rune adds more melee attackers.
Big Bad Voodoo+Rain Dance: Regerates 122 mana per second for 20 seconds.
Passives:
Tribal Rights: cuts down the cooldown for BBV and FA.
Grave Injustice: Cooldown reduction.
Vision Quest: +300% mana regen when 4 abilities are on cooldown.
This build could work well in multiplayer or solo.
The idea is when I came across a big mob, champion pack or boss. I would throw out a few Haunt+Grasping Spirit for slow and DoT then cast mass MC, BBV, WoZ, and FA. And then spam the hell out of Acid Cloud+Corpse Bomb, . If the cooldown on WoZ expires, I recast.
I would be regenerating from Rain Dance and Vision quest 366 mana per second. During the BBV I could regenerate 7320 mana on that synergy alone. I would have to cast 42 Corpse Bombs in 20 seconds to use that much mana regen. -

Akimasu posted a message on Few things people should know. There are a few key affixes that I feel everyone should know about ahead of time.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Rings - up to +326 life per striking.
Weapons - +676 life per striking.
All armor(gloves, feet, head, legs, shoulders, belt, chest, bracers, and shields) can have +300% armor.
Weapons are looking like having up to +350 max dmg, and +250 min damage.
Only a handful of pieces have sockets(legs, bracers, rings, quiver, torso(up to 3), Weapon, and offhands.) looking to be 9-10 sockets in total.
Enhance Damage % does not go very high at all - 40% was all I saw.
The very highest level of weapons only offer 2 affixes(from what we know). Presumably rares will offer 5-6, unknown currently though.
Highest crafted items are 1 level under. Exalted Grand Phantom bow offers 394 max damage, Revanent bow offers up to 460. From what we know - Exalted grand can go Up to 968 max damage. Revanent can go up to 1177. Noticeable difference. (These are assuming perfect rolls, on the weapon AND the affixes, from what is known).
Highest weapon damage goes to Barbarian with a whopping 720 max base damage on doom hammer, going up to a crazy 1,425 damage. Soverign Staff is the highest damage weapon useable by everyone else.
If current estimates on how armor works ring true, It seems that 97-98% damage reductions will be pheasable. It's unknown if this formula changes at a higher level(we've only seen up to level 13), or if there is a cap. If there is a cap, more than likely the formula I am currently using is incorrect. To put this into perspective, though, in best possible gear, the 170,000 damage swing would do less than 5,000 damage. With an asumed health pool of 30-50k, this doesn't sound out of the realm of impossible for pure defense builds. Take this with a grain of salt, though. Lots of estimates and guesses here.
Hammers(barbarian) are always the highest damage 2h weapons. They are roughly half a tier above the 2nd highest weapon. They also offer a .9 speed. Demolisher(1h Mace) is the highest 1h damage weapon, usable by everyone. Also highest DPS 1H weapon.
Gems: Radiant Star Ruby offers +31% XP in helm, +20-40 damage in wepaon, and +58 STR everywhere else.
Radiant Star Topaz offers 31% MF in helm, Thorns(1800) in weapons, and +58 int everywhere else.
Radiant Star Emerald offers +31% Gold Find in helm, +100% crit Damage in weapon(!!!), +58 Dex otherwise.
Radiant Star Amethyst offers +18% life in helm, +600 life on hit in weapon(!!!), and +58 Vit otherwise
I believe there are more, but those are the ones listed here. I think star Emeralds are going to be the most saught after, followed by Amethysts, Rubies, and finally Topaz.
Take all with a grain of salt, For damage numbers I'm assuming +40% damage is added AFTER max damage. This may turn out to be wrong. The armor is using a rather outdated formula, that may not ring true anymore. All things are subject to change - lots of affixes are missing. http://diablonut.incgamers.com/items/ is my source for the affixes. All is just for fun & for the hope of killing a few more hours. -

Shadout posted a message on SK Inferno statsNothing in this information shows that Inferno will take a long time to beat. Only that numbers will be high...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Even if it takes 5 minutes to beat SK in Inferno, 5 minutes isn't exactly a long time out of 24 hours per a day
Still going to be very surprised if no one have cleared Inferno after 2 weeks. The announcement that RMAH wouldn't be available for the first week might have ensured that Inferno wont be cleared the first week though. That probably is going to be important for the first ones to do it. -

Mac_an_tSaoir posted a message on Team LF 1 elite player.^ How is that ruining the game? Who are you to tell others how to enjoy the game? People enjoy it in the way that they feel is best?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
ruining their lives? 10 days is ruining someones life? What? What kind of cheap drugs are you on?
I've undergone more sleep deprivation in school, I've undergone more sleep deprivation and force marched. That shit didnt ruin my life. It's their life, and if they are happy doing whatever it is that they do, as long as they dont hurt others, who the fuck are you to judge them? If you dont understand the respect and accolades that go with being the first to conquer something in a blizzard game, you my friend, are on the wrong forums, and playing a game from the wrong company.
When WotLK went live, I spent 3 days playing it constant, without sleep, then went and wrote a theoretical criminology exam and scored and a 98 on it, with a class avg of 60. But i totally ruined my life, and jeopardized my schooling, right?.
I just quit my job about 3 weeks ago, and im enjoying my time off, and I will marathon the shit out of this game, because I've been waiting an eternity to play it, and that's how I enjoy playing new games. Hey? I just played Tera for 2 days straight, god damn my life's over!
It's not your place to judge how someone plays, keep it to yourself, or stfu essentially. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

true you "cant please everyone" its literally impossible. people find things to QQ about no matter how perfect things are. BUT id like less updates, just more specific ones. im not saying completely ignore the public till its done. just give specific info. we know that at this point in the final stage of development and they already pushed it back they for sure know AT LEAST the 1-2 month time frame its for sure going to be done. the beta isnt going to last 8 months, no game needs that much testing. so instead of "early 2012", say there almost posative its going to be done by march, they say "march-april for sure guys!" so they get extra cushion, and if it releases in march everyone praises them. giving a 6 months timeframe window just angers people. they may as well of said "sometime next year" considering how many ways "early" can be taken. <_<

i read it. something liek getting epic end-game loot through an exploit is OBVIOUS cheating. but with this, like i said if the lvl 1 can take a TP or flag or w/e and be there in person for the kill to get the XP i see no cheating here. its basically repeating an easy quest over n over. it seems more like a tristrun then it does an exploit of the game. to me anyways. i guess your super hardcore about anyone repeating a quest to power level. lol

This is cheating how? The game allows It therefor by definition It Isn't cheating.

uhm... yes, yes they are 100% responsible... ? nothing contradicting about it. they are as well as everyone else on earth is responsible. lol. blame the government if you too pathetic to take control of your own life.
dressing like "shit" as in dressing like a retarded gangster and expecting ANYONE to take you seriously, especially for a job. and bums are people too, which means they are also equally responsible for their actions, their life, and their unemployment. i never said assault anyone? rofl. wow your going way out in left field as usual moxx. or anything about fashion wow. dressing immaturely and expecting to be taken maturely is pretty retarded. would you show up to a job interview with your pants below your ass and a shirt 7 sizes too big? and then get offended when they treated you like shit? lol
you took the sex as the main part of that? were talking about blacks moxx, stop going out in left field again. affirmative action helps blacks get more jobs then whites, even with a shittier resume. lol

skill choice? you can only have 6 active skills out of the 20ish with 1 rune each in them. and 3 passives. i know your not stupid so you know the possible different combinations of skills w/ passives reaches the hundreds of millions and it would literally take 1000 life times to test every single possible build.
if your talking about skill choice in the sense that you cant repick like d2 was then thats pretty moronic considering how broken that system was mainly because of that fact. even with adding the respec tokens the D2 skill system is still severely broken. so i dont see where that complaint in D3 is valid. all the "no custimization QQ"'s that happened in the beginning stopped once people took a minute and actually realized its far more custimization then D2 had.
you say wait and see how it works and your not concerned but i dont see how you could even possibly come to that conclusion with the information we have.
