    Interesting.. I've seen the videos with the spider, but never heard of these numbers.
    20% per sec AOE poison seems pretty solid though..

    its in the beta when you mouse over the rune

    huh? bro mobs in inferno have HUNDREDS of thousands of health to MILLIONS. look at the guide. only the weakest of the weak mobs in act 1 have only like 50k health

    mobs have MILLIONS of health in inferno. there not OP at all. it just makes them a very VIABLE option for say a thorny barb or thorny pet build

    ya but a "nuke" build is fail until you have insane gear because it wont be possible to kill that fast in inferno until your insanely decked out.

    103-365 vs 470-515 are the correct numbers if you average the damage range of each item.

    Skysplitter is sexy but I don't want my min damage to be as low as 300 dmg. It's like the lightning spells in D2, they sucked because the damage range was huge and you couldn't rely on it.

    say whaaaaaaaat? lightning wizards fucking pwned with fast attack speed bro. yes its inconsistent but with fast attack speed your chances are a lot higher. and i still dont want to rely on epically slow attacks especially when mobs move like their on crack and i could possibly miss because 99% of spells arent like homing missles

    Doesn't exactly boost your speed now does it? It simply allows you to move through enemies. Or am I missing something?

    you are missing something. in the beta i tested it and you moved at LEAST 20-30% faster for the duration of it. most of the time id use it as a small sprint when in between fights to lessen downtime

    so ACTUALLY the 1 handed isnt much worse, yes a lot better on low end but no its only 10% more on the high end damage. just more inconsistent damage but you ALSO attack 50% faster.... so ya im def going 1 handed. and the knife stats + off-hand stats can add up to a good amount too. also if you add the DPS together the thing/knife has higher end DPS than the maul because of the increased attack speed. i dont want to rely on much slower attacks because this game will be all about speed in inferno just like how it is in D3 hell but much worse since you wont be able to 1 shot things (until full high-rolled inferno act 4 gear and even then....)

    A valid point, but I'm not so sure about it myself. :S

    Edit: About the killing speed being the main factor, I mean.

    considering they kept saying how there not trying to force co-op making it so much better then solo this would definitely contradict that. they say you should be able to kill faster with a good group but in later difficulties you'l have to have a decently skilled group and work together or else you'll all die and itll be harder then soloing. if you truly got more xp per kill then no one would solo to 60.

    huh? there is no "extra xp gain" in multiplayer... -_- you just kill faster therefor you level faster because mobs are dying faster. the amount of mobs that appear and what appears is random so your monk run could of randomly got alot of small groups while your group coincidentally got bigger groups. because the amount of mobs also doesnt change in multi player

    lmfao. its random dude. you don't deserve a beta key because you've played a game longer them someone or bought most of their games. its a SUPER short demo that literally lasts less then an hour and is only for stress testing, your not missing anything but a tiny demo so stop acting like its the whole game and we get to play early.

    From the look of it, there is literally no reason to even have stats anymore. Every one of them is focused on a particular class, and increases both your damage and defense for that class, making the others completely unnecessary. I assume Vitality increases defense more than the others, so there's at least that choice. They may as well just have your damage stat and your health stat, and let you choose between those.     lol wow. are you serious? go READ all of the effects each stat has genius. there is each persons core stat that increases dmg then the others increases other things like dodge and +health and +health from globes and +armor. so ANY class can use ANY stat depending on your specific playstyle and build. stacking 100% dmg is the most fail shit ever. even in D2 no one stacked strait dmg, ever. you stacked 99% of your stat points into VITALITY to SURVIVE. and vitality is in the game as well as dex increases dodge which completely negates all dmg if you dodge an attack. also armor for dmg reduction from str. which EVERY class will need. and +health from healthglobes will be needed because we can no longer pot spam (thank god).

    you should REALLY think before you spout off a bunch of hater BS with nothing to back it up. by making white items (exactly how D2 was, OH SNAP!) everywhere it DOES in fact stimulate the brain to get more excited when you see the colored ones. if all you found was colored items then you would cease to be excited to see them. obviously. so your again not thinking any of this through.

    i guarantee any other small "issue" of yours i can destroy because from the examples you gave, you have nothing even remotely tangible. if you hate the game changes just to hate them then cool, GL not playing as we all will be. come at me bro
