BigEd781 posted a message on Lore Books Now Colored Light Blue, Diablo 3 for Just $9.99, Diablo Drawing by MrKonda91, Curse Weekly RoundupHonestly, I think $9.99 is what the game should cost across the board. It's not a bad game, but it' not a deep game either. I would compare it to an XBox Arcade title.Posted in: News & Announcements -

If d2 pvp is anything to go by, the "real" pvpers want hacked items, teleport and oneshot kills -

Atros81 posted a message on Patch 1.0.4 Interview with Jay Wilson and Andrew ChambersHe misses one of the entire points of the ladder seasons. It wasn't simply just another starting point to do the level race game. The biggest reason people are clamoring for it isn't the damn levelling race, but rather the economic reset that comes with it. While there will still be bots in each ladder grinding up gold, the market that 'matters' won't be flooded with all the old gold. Any old items (say, old crappy legendaries) will be flushed away as well.Posted in: News & Announcements -

but I'd really prefer it if they just
SMASH SMASH SMASH SMASH SMASH
lost the 'clay jars' things and just had us
SMASH SMASH SMASH SMASH SMASH
tossing baby spiders around like arachnid confetti.
SMASH SMASH SMASH SMASH SMASH
Because OMFG that sound. -

It lasts indefinitely though so it triggers at the very first sign of damage either direction. You can kite and kite and kite and take or deal no damage after the initial "pull" and you will continue to take durability damage. For all intents and purposes they can somehow detect when you are engaged even if it's not the same tech as WoW.

a moment enjoyed is never a moment wasted

That's the entire guide for Inferno for everyone (the number of mil varies per class). Diablo is about gear, and less about everything else. Gear matters more in this game than any other i've played.

no, the itemization and diversity of builds was fun...not necessarily the methods in which to get said items...Blizzard has improved on the methods to gain (and continuing to improve in 1.0.3). It's the itemization itself (and build diversity for Inferno) that is currently worse than D2.

NOT both.
This two-pronged approach is going to be overkill. The whole reason ActII and up is insanely OP is because you currently CAN'T get the gear you need in Act I to reasonably progress in Act II. With the item drop change we'd be able to do that w/o you needing to nerf anything in Inferno. Conversely (but not as fun imo) would be to simply nerf Act II and up and leave drop rates where they are.
The problem is that they are responding with every reasonable solution to the same problem instead of just focusing on one at a time and see how well that works in the wild (not their insanely limited internal pool of players).

Pretty sad? Not really. This is a convoluted trick (12 steps). It's not a simple exploit like running the same quest over and over. There is nearly an infinite number of things you can try to do to break the game and if you wanted Blizzard to test them all you'd get the game in 2208.
Now to respond to someone with more than one brain cell:
Thank you OP for the vid. Not necessarily for the trick but to help Blizzard clean up loopholes.

Yeah I mean most of us have beaten the game already so why do we have to be forced to look at the art all the time? We've seen it and now there's no good reason to restrict us. Unlock it for your account after beating normal with one character.

Actually I hear too much people blaming the PC and not the software. When you see some isolated cases it's easy to assume it's the end user. But for brand new software with obvious server-side issues in the first week, you should really err on the side of what makes more sense.
