I really hope this isn't anything like the Sc2 for consoles was. If i remember correctly there was a Diablo for consoles before as well, and the game just didn't feel the same. Would be interesting to see how the gameplay is different from console to P.c. though, and what kind of different aspects it brings to things like Hardcore.
the psx diablo did suck but Blizzard has come a long way in game development...sure they don't have a ton of console experience but I'm confident they'd do a much better job this time

and i dont mean absolutely bug free but do you remember Gothic 3? or a bit more recent Battlefield 3? those were rushed games, especially gothic 3 i bought it day 1 but have never finished it because of i just lost interest after trying to get it to work for a week or two.

Um...I thought they weren't going to attempt to balance PvP due to changes affecting PvE? Are they planning on making all spells (not just CC) have different numbers and possibly effects in PvP? I'm all for that but I don't think Blizzard will ever do that due to it being too complex (in their mind, anyway...they've continued to refuse to do that in WoW for years...a game they've tried to e-sport and won't even balance correctly). I don't like the sound of hotfixes/patches unless they finally decide to split how spells work (not just CC) between the two gametypes otherwise they've pretty much just reneged on their huge announcement they've kept iterating for years about leaving PvE alone when people gripe about PvP balance.
Seems to me like the level cap should be 30 since the excitement of getting cool new stuff ends there.
So people's favorite skill that unlocks at say 25-30 can't be used until late nightmare-late hell? That wouldn't go over well. They want players to have access to their whole toolkit when the game is over (normal). Besides, you'll probably use a different build in nightmare vs hell and of course inferno.
Manual must be legit. Wayyyyy too much work to fake this just for a leaked manual. Really not that hard to expect that they'd be getting this going since they're still shooting for Q1. The only doubt in my mind is because the rune system isn't done, that they probably aren't going into much detail with them in the manual besides that they alter your skills.

Mooege or some other "educational only" emulated server using the beta content (runes are in your data files, just not accessible in the real Battle.net environment). You do not need a beta key. I have not seen a build that actually lets you play the game in the same sense as the real beta..you spawn monsters manually, no quests.

Unless you live in the backroom in Gamestop you're not playing the same time as those getting the digital version. Even though they make sure everyone has paid in full, done trade-ins, etc before midnight, they still take damn near forever to divvy up the copies after 12:01. It's definitely not the same at ALL.
