lol if D3 was "epic" when it released (unless you're talking about the epic backlash about the DRM requirement among the plethora of error codes) than what would do you call the current patch of LoD? You have some extremely low standards. -

The inevitable is happening. Nine months ago, many people were claiming D3 was a complete bombing of the franchise, now were getting into a spot where D3 is shaping up to be better than ever. By patch 1.10.0, D3 will be a completely different game, but nonetheless built up from the "failure" we got back in May last year.
With posts like these from the blues, I smile every time I hear "D3 is dead".
That's because that claim was 100% accurate. So putting "failure" in quotes as if you never believed it puts you in a terrible minority. It's certainly not impossible to turn the game around, but as you can see they've had to do quite a few things to make it even palpable. You don't have to do that sort of thing when a game launches correctly. I don't even remember hating D2 pre-LoD as much as I did D3. -

Let it be a lesson to all game companies: if you truly want to test your game before launching it (and not just say that you tested it), hire some hardcore gamers, give them a couple of months to play the game to the max, make them write down every single little thing wrong with it, make them sign NDA's, then fix the damn thing. And THEN release it.
Right? I laughed when they had that testimony video from some of their GRAPHIC DESIGNERS about how hard Inferno was. -

Eat it haters, Even more soild stuff coming to D3. Like i said at the very start. Rome wasnt built in a day, D2 sucked intill LoD came out for it, It took WoW 7 years but they finally got transmog. I dont get where people think games are going to be perfect at launch. Nice to see i was right again, but hey thats allways for me
Diablo 2 was better than Diablo 1. LoD was better than D2. D3 is worse than all 3. You aren't even remotely correct. Blizzard had all the right things from LoD to learn from, they crapped on all of it and gave us garbage. It makes zero sense to go BACKWARDS on the quality of your next game but you're too damn stupid to understand that.
Also WoW is WORSE than it was back in the BC days. Blizzard hasn't made anything good since their merge with Activision. -

Ok so lets get 1.08 before the end of the month please. It takes too long to fix D3. Even if 1.08 fixes everything wrong with itemization, we'll still be running around act 3. The only difference is now maybe we'll pick up some blue gear to salvage since there'll be less to loot overall.
Yeah they really need to make sure that 1.0.8 includes waypoint hopping across acts. -

Yeah, what is this bone armor thing? Is it to replace invulnerable minion or something similar?
If it's anything like Bone Armor in WoW, it'll make the monster take less damage with a certain amount of charges with each hit before it goes away.
killed 20 elites, none had this affix yet.
The patch mine only showed the effects had been implemented. No strings to show it had been added to mobs yet. -

Jay Wilson is not a bad guy actually. And also he is not the only man who made d3 bad. I dont think anything will change with his leaving
So you say to Jay: "You are bad guy, but this does not mean you are bad guy." - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

1) Why do they bother to bring up this number? The only number that matters is how sales continued after about a month from release. Before that everyone was picking this up under the understandable expectation that this game would have been good considering the franchise history.
2) Notice how they have to say "subcription-based"? Nearly all MMOs out there are NOT subscription-based. Congrats on being #1 in a nearly empty room Blizzard.

A crafted item is simply a combination of parts dropped from monsters. You basically got 1/x of a drop when you get crafting components from a monster.
No sarcasm or snide attitude intended: I really do like that the Diablo series is one of the few places where Angels exist and aren't superior to a being found on a habitable planet.

Translation: "LOL @ you suckers who bought D3 at launch because you had reasonable faith that it would be good considering the previous Diablo games."
