Pretty good, all the haters do not understand the traffic they were experiencing, they are not to blame, this is the first Blizzard launch that I have ever lagged on, this is to say that they usually have very smooth launches. For me anyway.

WoW Vanilla and SC2 launches were horrible. Expansions do not count because they are just big content patches for a server farm already tested and built-out.

i groaned having to go through the beta content again (and 19 more times for the rest of the chars+difficulties...) but go totally hyped once I was able to go past SK

log-in issues were a pain but even then I didn't expect to be able to get in at all

I didn't say beat the hell out of, I just think that 2handers should have a significant advantage in damage to offset the innate advantages of 1 handers. wether that would be higher number of affixes or what I just think it needs to be better balanced.

Even if they aren't perfect, 2 azurewraths each have comparable dps to the hardest hitting 2handers, at much higher attack speeds.

I just think that for giving up the flexibility--shield, dual wielding, mixing affixes, etc, 2handers outta have something.

The high end damage is better on 2h where skills that have cooldowns get virtually no benefit from attack speed so it's all about the top end damage.

Took me 40 minutes of constantly trying, but I got in last night! Toodled around for five minutes. None of my friends were in, so I logged back out and went to bed. Felt like a traitor sitting in game when none of them could get in (one of them is still having install issues), or weren't bothering to. Ah well though, felt good man!

kudos to you for being patient so you could play with them w/o the big level gap

I used a program called Do It Again to spam logins until it got me in...prob took around 40 mins as well.

I could have sworn I attempted to give my DH's follower (before we killed Jondar) a shield but I guess I didn't because I never got disconnected once I was able to finally get into a game.

I just don't get why the damage is so similar between end game 1 handers and end game 2handers. A 2 hander should have significantly higher dps just based off the tradeoff of less options with a 2hander vs. a 1 hander. With a 1 hander you get option of dual wield, shield, or mixing up affixes. Don't get this with a 2hander, plus 2 handers are slower. Though, it does appear that 2handers do have more affixes then 1handers.

Wrath of the mountain has 8 and I think The Grandfather goes with 12....Scratch that, Azurewrath has 9 affixes. So really what is the advantage of me using my mighty weapon vs. dual wielding azurewraths? I just don't see the weapons being balanced just like in D2.

2h requires getting one drop. 2x 1h requires two. Twice as hard to get perfect rolls. No way should 2h beat the hell out of 1h.

I obviously don't understand shit in the thread you linked lol, but thanks anyway, thats "good" to know

    not a great news..
Only a fool would have expected no issues. The more issues they get, the less we'll get as they can fix them and be more prepared.

open beta was supposed to handle this

care to elaborate on your rumor as to WHY people were banned? there are far more controversial things blizzard has done and they haven't banned anyone for doing anything they don't normally ban people for

also getting banned on the forums never gets you banned from the game afaik

According to the preview we'll have 15160 achievement points total. That is incorrect isn't it?
Also 54 hardcore monk, yet only cleared normal on hardcore

% of the number of achievements completed...not number of total possible points

If you have 42% with 6370 points, you have 100% with ~15160 points.
    Ever heard of math?

It may not be 42% of POINTS. It could be 42% of the number of available achievements in the game. Each achievement is NOT worth the same amount of points.

    So this statement

According to the preview we'll have 15160 achievement points total. That is incorrect isn't it?

Is moronic until you have proof that the % represents % of available achievement POINTS attained vs # of achievements earned. Just because they show the number of points currently earned does NOT, AT ALL!!, prove that the % displayed has ANYTHING to do with the actual points.

All I know is from the picture with the Barbarian he is level 59, and he is still in nightmare mode. MAybe? But it sure looks like it to me.

sure is...since this was just a tester he might have just been farming in nightmare to see how fast you can level by farming old content (thereby tweaking the XP penalty of killing out of level mobs for release)
