    I don't mind the change if it's needed, i hope the damage from the beams stacks. Also it could look a bit better if it was still hydra just rotating their heads, or some sort of pillars coming out of the ground that rotates... along those lines.

    Well, you really need to stop giving yourself false hope and aim for the worse. You'll avoid alot of deceptions. As to them announcing the official release date, i don't see it happening soon. They just removed all the unique and set item stats from diablo website and are remaking them, potions changed as well and they are still in the process of balancing everything... And tweaking skills. That can take awhile.

    Not really worried about game difficulty at all, what we are seeing there is twinked level one character playing on ACT 1 in normal mode. Game gets progressively harder with each acts then you have the difficulty levels. Act 4 on hell is going to be alot harder than most people think. I won't even say how is ACT 4 on inferno... Along with the randomized encounter with champions, rares and packs of mobs... death could around every corner. Let's just say we will all die and the forum, b.net chat tears are going to be awesome... especially for hardcore players that didn't accept they would die sooner or later.

    Making trash worth killing = good.

    Just because something have a slightly lower drop rate than something else doesn't mean it's not worth killing (see barrel statement). Good loot can drop from anything in diablo. It makes perfect sense that random spawn rares and champions have a better drop rate than static bosses. They want to avoid boss farming, what part of that you don't understand again? you kill bosses to progress in the game and you progress to get higher level, reach new areas and find better loots... that's incentive for you.

You just run around ignore all monsters and kill the boss and restart the game... nothing fun in that. they did the right thing, exploring and killing mobs + finding champions and rares is alot more entertaining. In diablo you could find some of the best items inside a barrel if you're lucky, so it doesn't really matters who drops the best thing. Bosses will still be worth killing because you know where they are, as for champions and rares they will spawn randomly so you have to look for them and you might find none on some games.

    I'll probably end up buying a digital download of D3 while i wait for CE shipping. I don't think they'll hand out CE keys to people who bought the collector edition so they can start playing at midnight simply because most of us wouldn't even open our CE box and resell it.
