Ok I'm just assuming here but I am quite sure that when Spirit Walk ends you retain the health of your spirit body, Your physical body while in spirit form acts as a clone only. IMO, Spirit Walk and Spirit Vessel will be invaluable escape skills in hell and inferno. I dont see myself play without both.
This! I exactly think alike. CC will be less efficient in inferno, spirit walk won't. You are not taking damage while in the spirit body. If your decoy suffers more then 50% of your max hp, you exit the spirit world.
By itself with a 15 sec cooldown, spirit walk is quite a drag because you don't get to abuse it much. But, when you have Grave injustice, you reduce the cooldown to make it spammable as much as you can. If you use thorn with it, you can escape into the spirit realm, leave behind the decoy which can return damage whilst you don't. Add to this some DOT and you got all you need for success. Gem all you can with life increase to furthermore increase the effectiveness of your decoy.
This is how i trully see me playing inferno. This decoy will act as one of my "pets" most of the time.
That's quite a nice strat. The only concern about this is that the 8 yard range of Grave Injustice is very short. Cant wait to see how much gold pickup radius you can stack on top tier gear to lower that Spirit Walk cooldown safely.
EDIT: I went on D3Inferno to see wich gear can have the gold_pickup affix. Was very pleased to see that all 8 defensive gears can have it at a min/max of 2-7. So maximum Gold_pickup is 56 yards!! This makes Grave Injustice and Circle of Life a 64 and 68 possible range respectively!!!

You are right that with quick weapons, DW and some IAS, you could double the number of casts. But 2x 10 mana means 20 mana/sec consumption and you are regenerating 20mana/sec base.
Unless casting time is an issue for one of those spells, i don't see them less effective.
I think the wording on the passive is what we have to pay attention to here.
"Whenever you CAST a physical realm spell, you have a 3% chance to summon a dagger-wielding fetish to fight by your side for 60s "
This leads me to believe that there would not be a 3% chance to proc on every hit of the spells like Firebats: Direbats or Hungrybats. Sounds like if you are just holding down the key "channeling" these skills, it would just be a 3% chance off the start of the channel. This would make spells like toads, poison darts, firebomb etc better for proc'ing Fetish Sycophants since it would be a 3% chance off each cast.
In theory atleast.
One could try to stack IAS affixes to improve the proceed%. Assuming that bonus is multiplicative,
30-40% is reachable
With 1.4 APS weapon, 25% increased IAS would mean a 5,7% chance to raise a fetish every second (or approximately). Would mean you could possibly double the chance or even a bit more.
Thanks for the input guys. I recently read that petless wd builds are considered unorthox compared to pet builds (meaning pet builds are better for survivability in inferno). Im taking out GotD for Gargantuan with the stun ability. Also taking out spiritual attunement for grave injustice. Thinking about runing SH for the 60%slow rune. Hex can be interchanged with MC or Horrify depending on how they actually work in the game. Also deciding if i want to take out poison dart for Spiders w mana leach (4 spiders x 2 attack each x 3 mana per hit=24 mana gen-5 mana cost=21 mana per jar + cc benefits).
We have info on mobs from a guide on the front page.
If you look at it the normal mobs HP is nothing compared to bosses.
The Skeleton king in inferno has 15.7 million HP, which is like 13 minutes if you can pump out an average of 20 k dps.
At that same 20k dps will kill the normal mobs listed in inferno in a few seconds at most.
reg mobs in inferno have just 80k health? link?
also i dont think 20k dps will be easily achievable by any means. so sure with super elite gear you should be able to kill mobs in a decent pace.
If dps was so low that you would need to take minutes to kill trash, then the SK (a mini boss) on act 1 would take like an hour or more.
one of those videos shows people saying they were wiping for hours on one boss in inferno. so maybe.
it seems like the 80k mobs wont be very abundant since theres all the other kinds that have 10x more life and thats only act 1. and act3 and act 4 inferno has like 1-1.5m hp mobs. jesus with a minimum of 300k. looks like a lot of people will be chillin in act 1 inferno in a small area for a longggg time lol
I hope this makes you realize that your 2 week inferno clear is a big joke. 20K mobs should be easily killed in a few seconds in inferno. As stated before, you can achieve up to near 20k damage just with full thorn affix gear.

You've been showed you once again that you are the one being wrong. Stop trolling on every posts it really is annoying.
You are thinking in such absoluteness i'd say you must be depressed or suffering from anxiety (probably due to the fact you are a gamming addict and have such a need of D3 you are shaking like mad). I suggest you see a psychologist.
You dont put much thought or logical strategy into your builds ive noticed.
Oh ok, like your last ''solo boss build'' was some awesome idea. It's a big FAIL. If you go back a bit in posts, you will notice how i brought thorns on the table recently and you really seemed to show some love about the idea... I bring forward the idea of inducing a time aspect and transition in playstyle but i mean, it'S not as big as your ideas of course, you are a gamer in the 0,0001% of the elite out there (and youre the one who said it).
I am being sincere dude, no one likes you, you got no friends (probably why you will end up playing solo all your life). You got some big self esteem when it comes to gaming probably making up for all the other things in life you fail miserably at.
I can't wait to see you fail at your ''2 week inferno clear'' so that everyone can see your true face.
lmao. i love how im being civil for once and you result to being a child. so ironic it hurts. oh nos i have no friends cuz some idoit who cant make good builds on a D3 fansite is butt hurt because he cant take criticism!?! trololol
I am actually basing all what i am saying on facts.

You noticed how slow zombies are? Kitting them will be like a piece of cake. It won't matter much if i got those skills on CD or not. It will definitely work at least for act 1. Even if it takes me a few minutes more to beat mobs, in the end, i will make up lost time when my CD's will be reduced and i will be spamming those bad ass skills.
Horrify as some purpose here, and it is not mainly about casting fear but increasing armor. With 100% armor bonus, i could end up having as much armor as a Barb.
You won't end up facing elite/champions right away. Take for example act 1. You will fight normal mobs for a while before running into elite/champions. Most probably enough mobs to decrease significantly your CD's before you face elite/champions. When you are able to spam SW for mana and SH for life, you could probably stay alive longer than you think. Not to mention that the templar as awesome survival skills to back you up and spirit vessel is also a 1 time life saver.
I totally disagree with you on this point. With decent play, a pet-less is definitely viable. Do you realize that saying that a pet-less WD is not viable in inferno basically means that a DH or Wiz is not viable inferno?

I would equip gold pickup radius first and swap for more damage oriented gear after cd is decreased

You have a basic 20mana/sec regen. Meaning that darts, fire bomb and spiders would be as efficient

Mmm, i don't really see any purpose in taking grave injustice for the abilities you got there.
