I believe they chose Tyrael's human form as a black human because the development proper of Diablo III began in 2008 during the '08 US Presidential Elections, the developers must have seen Barack Obama as the new hope for the United States and the free world and thus they were prompted to model the mortal Tyrael as a black man like Obama, his ascension as President of the United States and Tyrael's eventual return to the High Heavens. I also believe that the story of Diablo III and its' main characters were based upon real events that occur in the United States during D3's development time. Imperius may very well be modeled after George W. Bush, a tyrannic despot whose War On Terror (The Great Conflict) blinded him with the internal problems the United States was facing (The United States = High Heavens), Obama (Tyrael) being a member of the United States Senate chose to run for the presidential elections (Tyrael's fall to Sanctuary) to try to make a change within the political system in the US by being the first black president of the United States. Diablo is the representation of the collective woes the United States was facing, His entrance to the High Heavens (United States) is a symbol of all the problems entering the United States and Diablo's eventual defeat lead to Tyrael's (Obama) return to the Angiris Council (US Government) but as a mortal and the new Archangel of Wisdom (The first African-American to become President of the United States).
It's possible they'll delay the release of D3 until mid-late 2013, Blizzard said they still have to do a lot of tweaking and rebalancing to do with the game, they could have released it this year but with the close beta feedback they don't feel confident with the end product for commercial release, any thoughts?
@Dolaiim it's practically a fact that Leah is the dark wanderer's daughter with Adria, and it's almost a fact that Azmodan was speaking to Leah as if she was Diablo so it's not very farfetched to assume Diablo will take control of her.
It's been in the lore that even demons who soulstones have been destroyed come back.
There aren't really any other Soulstones than the ones we've seen: Diablo's Soulstone, Mephisto's, Bhaal's and the Black one. the first 3 were created for the sole purpose of imprisoning the 3, and the black one will be used to capture azmodan and belial, it was never stated in lore that vanquished demons return from the black abyss, the nature of which is still unclear at the moment.

It's more probable that it's Azmodan and Belial based on official lore details that we currently have, think about it Baal and Mephisto have no more essence left since the entirety of their being were destroyed together with their Soulstones while Diablo left a portion of his essence in Leah his offspring, I suspect that the Diablo that is inside Leah is in a larvae condition needing an immense amount of power to restore him to his true form that is why he goes along with Leah and the D3 hero's plan to capture Belial and Azmodan with the Black Soulstone (it is official lore information that Leah and the protagonist aims to imprison the two lesser evils with the Black Soulstone) and when Azmodan and Belial are trapped in thestone, that is then will Diablo strike and takeover Leah's body and use the Black Soulstone to restore his true form, that is why Azmodan said in the cinematic "you thought you were so clever that you outwitted us all, but not me, I DEFY YOU!" because he knew Diablo is inside Leah and that he is using her and the D3 Hero to defeat him and Belial using the Black Soulstone and take their infernal powers for himself! that is why Azmodan wants the stone for himself.
Are actually Azmodan and Belial! Leah and the hero traps Azmodan and Belial in the Black Soulstone, once this happens Diablo will takeover Leah with his essence inside her, he will then take Azmodan and Belial's power from the Black Soulstone and merge his essence with theirs, thus explaining the two parasitic creatures seen in Diablo's shoulders duringseen in the cinematic and artwork
Did anyone make the connection that, maybe, the black soulstone was the thing that came down and hit Tristram Cathedral? This could be a cinematic that comes later in the game, possible after Act 1 or maybe even in the middle. One could even say that that's the cliffhanger that Jay Wilson talked about in the Blizzcon 2011 interview.

Well Titan accdg. to various sources will have Q4 2013 release so D3 will most probably be released earlier like Mid-Late Q3 2013
