If you look at the schedule you can just put in the time it says on the schedule into WolframAlpha and it will give you the time in your current time zone, how long until that time and a bunch of other useful stuff.
That's an awesome site (for lots of stuff)! Thanks for the tip.

Only people who have moderative powers over some board appear in that list.Quote from Nekrodrac
I see superceb on the staff list but no Mephy(I mean in the moderating team link). How come?

Oct 18, 2010PhrozenDragon posted a message on DiabloFans Staff Recruitment updatesAll staff applicants have been reviewed. We had a much greater number of applicants than we'd expected or even hoped, and a big thanks goes out to everyone who applied. There might be a newspost before Blizzcon to highlight who got actually got the positions.Posted in: News
Those selected have all been promoted (with the exception of one atm). If you have not heard anything as of now however, you were not selected. We're sure to need new staff members in the future however, and there will be more opportunitues to come -

9, but it's the same right?Quote from Epsilemna
I'm grateful for the hours they gave D3 though since I'm attending a major national test that very same saturday for 6-8 hours (starts around 8 or 9 in the morning I think), so I won't miss out on anything D3-related if I'm not mistaken (+10 hour difference between Sweden and Cali).

One of the best things about Diablo: spellcasters in heavy f*cking armor!
Quote from necronergal
The helm is kinda funky looking. I think they were trying to go with a high priestess look with that.
I think that's the reason, remember that all items are designed to be seen from the isometric perspective.Quote from ansl
However I wouldn't mind seeing it from the angle and perspective which we will be seeing it from :)!

The new mods and wiki staff will have it easy getting to know their other staffies.
The new news staffies though... I don't think they really know what they're getting into.
Or what will get into them  .
It should, oh it should :whistling:

No, gimme!
Obviously bigger shoulder pads equal better games. That's why WoW is so successful, and I think Blizzard is continuing with that theme in D3. Hopefully lvl 60 character will have shoulder pads the size of refrigerators. -

Maybe. True, he could have just said the WD and the Wizard, but he opted not to use class names.Quote from NorthAmericanPenguin
I also might be reading too much into nothing and stating the obvious but notice when he talks about balancing out the class to work together. He says the ranged classes. To me, the WD is more of a mid-range class and not considered a true ranged class. So the plural would once again confirm some sort of bow user who is ranged.
Well I don't mean for them to tell me which skills to invest in, only that, regardless of what skills I pick, I need to focus on just a few. That's not spoiling replay, that's like: vitality increases health. You should consider boosting your health in order not to die horribly.Quote from Magistrate
I would say, however, that in a way it does spoil replayability in the sense that you don't have to replay the game to make a better character, since they'd just spell it out for you. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Nice argument from ignorance there Ferret
We of course still retain the option of disagreeing with said choice.
Oh I don't know, the "I don't remember any human having wings of light and sound." seems to fit the bill? Expecially since it's true
Of course that doesn't prove that human cannot have wings, since you cannot prove a negative, but since no human has never shown them it does set the tone for the series. And since this is not a debate about the logical possibility of wings, but the perceived feeling of actually seeing humans with wings in the game, the important factor here is whether or not it "feels right". Based on that, I can agree with the Laedo that it does seem out of context.

The Void, like you said, is some sort of vacuum, but clearly not just very far away since there are no stars visible, ahough extrapolating conclusions about a fantasy world using astrophysics might be a bit foolish.
In any case, Mendeln is still very much alive when he's sent there, as is Rathma and Lilith as well. But the Abyss is only ever mentioned as a place where demons go after dying. That's the chief difference between the two as far as we can tell at this point.
As for what the Abyss is, we really don't know. The only thing we know is that Diablo and Mephisto are probably there, and if D2 lore is still accurate Izual's demonic body migth have come from there. Though since demons now have a clear creator in the husk of Tathamet, that's uncertain.

You mean adding them to the page so there are tons of ugly red links everywhere? I'll say yes, but without it there's no way to tell what is actually missing from the wiki without scanning through all recipes, and that's not very helpful for anyone. You are of course free to add any of those recipes to the Data namespace directly, and it's quite a simple procedure. Just look at an already existing data page, copy the layout and replace the differing variables (which is mostly just the name and description it would seem).

Before we moved the D2 items to use the new item template, many of them linked to their unique/set/normal versions with links like [[Humongous]] rather than [[Humongous (Diablo II]] (you can see that humongous redirects you to the D2 unique axes page). Withthe move, to conform to the later added wiki standards of separating all older game titles with a game suffix, this created some red linkds. So this is just a matter of the redirects not existing. Easy but tiresome process to fix

However, I expect the D3 data will change considerably as the game is patched and played, probably several times, and the editing upkeep of these pages will be larger. That means priority should be given to making editing easy, and so I think adding the recipe lists directly to the page would be preferable.

Yes. Those lists contain data and format that has been manually added to that page, rather than pulling the available data from the Data: namespace.
Oh now I see what you're talking about. I was confused when you used the word categorization: in the wiki that word is used to refer to the method by which pages are automatically grouped and sorted (see Help:Categorization).
As for how to handle that specifically, I don't know. You could experiment and see what makes sense, and then we can iterate from there if needed. Try and see
ApocBot should also have updated the Mystic Recipes by now so it should be possible to incorporate them into the List Template.

What Vagelis and Diablofan said is what'll happen: you simply won't be able to accessa a RMAH with characters created out of your home region.
