    Hey Guys,

This is my Hardcore Witch Doctor build!

My left and right click buttons willl be Zombie charger (BEAR ZOMBIES) and summon plague. I chose these because it should give me enough DPS and at a range, as well as Posion damage to keep my Mad Medicne passive up. Locusts are runed with firedamage, so i have physical, posion and fire, which should be good to start with.

My 4 tool bar skills, im choosing summons. With plauge dogs and a gargantuan, I should be able to avoid a lot of damage. My dogs are runed with life leech (gonna need that for hardcore) and the gargantuan will stun. For the other two, I chose Toads and Spiders. I don't know, but I think the spiders will stick around ? but they are leaping spiders. The toads are runed with confuse. This way, i can confuse groups of enimes while my spiders and swarm DESTROY groups of ememies in true Diablo fashion.

Finally I took jungle fortitute, death trance and bad medicine. These are going to be essential in HC for damage mitigation.

Overall, this build should allow for a somewhat tanky summon WD. It should (hopefully) solo inferno and be A LOT of fun to play!

posted a message on Predetermined character stats and hardcore
    Hey guys and gals,

One of my favorite things about Diablo was the ability to assign your characters stat points however you deemed fit. Does your character need more health? More dexterity? Easy, just assign more points when you leveled up.

If you were serious about the game, as most people were, especially now, you knew exactly what gear your character would use for its final gear. From there you would calculate exactly how much strength or dexterity your character would need and build accordinly. Any extra points would go towards more health in hardcore or more damage in softcore (usually).

I know this may sound like a dumb question, but how do you hardcore players think that having each character gain set stats per level (ala WoW) affect your gameplay experience.

I think that it's going to be a little more difficult to play D3 on hardcore then D2 (which is fine). But now your item hunt is going to have to include and maybe prioritize health items over damage dealing items.

Let me know what you guys think. It will probably be a moot point, but I think it should be discussed.

posted a message on Save and exit???
I'm going to be honest. I have saved a few hardcore characters in D2 using save and exit (and for the people that are saying they haven't, well, ok..).

The biggest thing I came to realize with it was you never really needed it. If you play hardcore, you would know that you never should have been in the situation where you needed to quickly leave the game. Most of the times I used it was in Normal out of all places.

One example I can think of was leveling up a Sorc in A2 tombs. Just got fireball and was eager to use it. Ran into a room, got surrounded by undead and beatles, they blocked the door, and I couldn't blast my way out because of the beatles. I was trapped, and out of health potions. Stupid of me.

And of course, in later difficulties.. you probably won't even get the chance to use it. Last character to die of mine was a LF zon. Level 76, too low and undergeared for soloing hell, but I was bored. Made it to hell Tristram before I stupidly ran into two groups of special skeleton archers. Insta gibbed.. Should have been more cautious.

TLDR; Save and exit is just a crutch. Shouldnt have put yourself in the position to use it.
