Something to bear in mind. More is not always more. If you sacrifice toughness for dps, you may spend more time running away, so although your dps is higher, your actual output is lower. Also, if you can stand still for a bit, there is a big boost from that 64 passive. So, more toughness can lead to more effective dps.
There is a mailbox icon that pops up next to your chat button. I noticed this, as when the patch hit, a glitch made me get my CE edition wings and dyes again.
I agree, this sounds like a great idea. Adding even more incentive to "play the game" as blizzard puts it.
Just throwing this out there (haven't rally though it through), but maybe they could use this to remove enrage timers as a gear check. Kill the mob before x time or it's positive affix disappears.
Wait Wait, am I missing something here. Why are we paying for blizzard sending us a message? This certainly is not how things work with regular text messages. I don't pay to receive them (beyond the price of belonging on a network, which can cost as little as 1$ every few months if I do nothing else with the phone).
I use a similar service for my bank account, and it has paid for itself already. I have had 2 erroneous debits on my credit card, which an sms alert allowed me to identify. When real money is involved, you can't put a price on security.
I will spend every waking moment obsessing over every scrap of D3 news. I also plan on working 8 hours a day, sleeping, spending time with my girlfriend, doing my bit to keep the house clean. But mostly obsessing

Pretty sure world firsts won't be buying their gear, since they will be the first to clear that content.
