posted a message on Locust Swarm / Haunt and Pain Enhancer
    Hello,

Just wondering, I read that Locust Swarm and Haunt spells take into account your crit chance and crit hit damage, and then deal damage over time evenly based on how much crit damage you would have done, so the damage is pretty even over the duration - is that correct, or does each tick of damage for these spells have a chance to crit? If the damage is applied as I described, can either of these skills actually trigger a crit (ie, do they work with the Pain Enhancer gem?) Or am I way out in left field here? lol I could have sworn that I read this about the damage of Locust Swarm and Haunt though.... Would appreciate any comments!

(not that I need an incentive to play, lol - just find I don't have a ton of time to play, so just wondering if getting a character up to 70 in seasonal play would be worth while or if I should just stick to grinding out a few more paragon levels on my regular character)

    Thanks for the answers! :)

So other than just trying something new / leader boards, is there any real incentive to play seasonal characters? I know there are going to be new legendary items added but at the end of the season they will go into the "regular" loot pool so that everyone has a chance to get them. I was talking to a friend who also plays, and he thought he read somewhere that there will be a higher chance of the new seasonal legendaries dropping during the season in which they are added, anyone know if that's true?

    Hello,

Was hoping that someone who was playing on the PTR might be able to answer this. With seasonal characters, if I create a new seasonal character, do the artisans still have all the designs that I picked up and learned in non-seasonal game play, or is it kind of like regular vs hardcore where I start over from scratch in seasonal game play?

If this is the case, when a new season starts, do your artisans keep the progress you made in previous seasons, or do they reset as well?

    Thanks!

Maybe I'm just a skeptic... but the belt you posted in your gear is a "barbarian only" belt, which a demon hunter can't equip....

Just upgrade your graphics card and you should be fine. I'm running a Intel E8400 (rated the same for gaming by Tomshardware.com) but I have an AMD 6950 video card and I can play WoW and D3 at max settings. I had a 3870 before that, which is rated the same as your 9600 - I understand your pain, but upgrading your video card should be all you need to do.

For WoW (and maybe any other MMO), a solid state hard drive will make the game load WAY faster but won't improve graphics in any way. I just picked one up, notice a huge difference in WoW load times on launch and entering an instance. Didn't notice much difference in the D3 beta though.
