I have 1.13c diablo 2 lord of destruction, with the data file with the .txt "runes" in my Diablo folder so I can use ladder rune works and pickup ladder items- which works fine. However, I cant transfer my character to other computers (with exactly the same version and everything on it), It loads a lower level character (about the time when I put the .txt "runes" into my Diablo. Please help!!!! I dont want to loose all my characters if my pc bombs out!!! Has anyone had the same problem with using a .txt file method to access ladder rune words ?
I know this is a old topic but I wonder if someone has experienced the same major catastrophe as I have regarding backing up saved characters...
I installed d2 on another pc (exactly the same version as my current pc) and copied the saved characters over but to my dismay my characters was level 39! My saved files are not saving properly since I put this text file "runes" into my d2 folder... Please helPpp! If my pc dies I will loose 85 avengers and 90 necros etc.... argh.!
