I don't think we should be rewarded for waiting. That's like the kids in school who get paid for getting good grades. We can't be fussy just because the game isn't out when we'd like it to be, because it will be out eventually, and sooner rather than later. In a few months, or (if something goes horribly wrong), in six months probably. It's not like we're waiting our entire lives or we can't do anything until then.

Are you saying the game is in purgatory!?

Oh. The rest of you have seen the end of Lost right? Where they all turn out to be dead? Okay, good.

Sorry for going OT, but now I'm all messed up over Lost.. I knew they were dead, but when did they exactly die? From the initial plane crash, or when the nuke went off, etc.?

In the last season they introduced flash-sideways instead of flashbacks, as if the plane had never crashed. So half the story was on the island, and half was off. The end of the flash-sideways had all the major characters connecting with one another and learning of their other life. The flash-sideways where the plane didn't crash the survivors themselves had created somehow, and was a kind of purgatory "between life and death" sort of thing. They made it so that they would have a way for each of them to meet up and "move on" together after they had all passed on in real life (on/after the island). I'm not sure why they just didn't move on by themselves, but I guess it doesn't matter.

I feel I should censor half my post, but Lost ended almost two years ago.

But! If you take the amount of letter's in Bash: 4. In what month he predicted it: 8. The date you predict an announcement: 15. The day that'll come and we'll still be waiting for an announcement: 16. The amount, in trillion, builds there are: 23. The amount of months that have passed since WWI 2008: 42.

You get: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42. Which is the same number algorithm used to reveal the condor, hidden as a clue, that saw this website peak in 2008.
The same number was used in LOST.
I'm goin nowhere with this post :P

It'd be hilarious if they announced the release date (or beta date) for Mists of Pandaria instead.

In a cosmic kind of way.

No, I think "???" is the actual boss, guys.

You missed one question mark mate :(

Nope. That last one is the end to his poorly structured sentence.

No, I think "???" is the actual boss, guys. It's a trio of floating question marks, like the three barbarian statues from LoD (pardon me for not remembering their names). Except these guys use elemental attacks and attack you with comma-mark hands.

When you kill them, they straighten into exclamation points before burning away. You collect each dot from them and use them in a gate to get to the next area.

I think after beating Inferno you can go into kick-ass difficulty, where every enemy is only 75% their normal size and they are all--even bosses--level 1. They don't offer experience or items.

i was watching james rolfes latest video and Terminator came up, it got me thinking

I know why the game is not out and has taken years to produce

    just like Terminator movies

A cyborg is sent back in time from 2029 to slow down blizzard, just like arnies T-101 is sent back in time by john connor to aid sarah and younger john connor (not Incl the T-101 from the 1st movie) to slow down Skynet

so ye the cyborg has come back from 2029 many times over the last 7 years to slow down diablo

    there is evidence

blizzard north wasnt cancelled........ it was destroyed!!!!

then activison bought part of blizz in 2007 and diablo slowed right down, coincedence?

'team members leave the diablo team'...they were killed by T-1000s

Jay wilson joins the team in 2007, T-1000 takes his appearence & has infiltrated blizz

2008 they announce diablo to the world, recession hits the world

2010-2011, WoW loses 100s of thousands of players......killed!! to slow down blizz's revenue

2011 blizz announce end year release, Kim Jong-il dies and games is delayed, KJ was pro diablo 3...cyborgs again

February 2012.......game is pushed to Q2....The titanic Sank in April 12th 1912 (Q2) the cyborgs sank the titanic in 1912 knowing that wen the date hits exactly 100 years later ( April 12th 2012) the cyborg that pretending to be jay wilson TERMINATES everyone associated with Dibalo 3

they did try to stop D1 & D2 but failed

Then why didn't they stop you from revealing their secrets? Obviously more advanced robots from even further in the future must have destroyed them.

Do you know what this means? Cyber-Diablo.

(haven't read 7 pages of posts)

I'm just wondering what will happen when Blizzard stops supporting the servers after twenty years or so. It's not cost-effective to support them forever. Do you think they'll update it so that you can play IP and single player games?

I don't know how to imbed, so whatever. I may just be out of my mind, but I want that game right now. It's from ThinkGeek and it's called Lightning Reaction.

For those of you not able to watch the video, it's a game where 2-4 people each hold a small controller attached to a circular base. The base makes a sound, rising and falling to create tension as it beeps red. After a random amount of time the it turns blue and the noise stops.

The players each hit the button on their controller and the first one to hit it after the button turns blue is safe...the others are lightly shocked.

I don't know why this seems so appealing to me, but I know several of my friends would love it, too. Any comments?

A day or two ago they said that they would probably have a pre-downloader available so that the game could be completely installed before the game launches.

Just saw D3 for preorder in a major entertainment store here in Belgium. Release date: februari 28. Normally I'd dismiss this right away, but usually these guys are pretty reliable in those things. It may still be a trick to get the most preorders first, but.. sign of announcement?

I'd find it weird that the release date would only be announced a couple of weeks in advance though.

Haha I double checked and they already changed it to april. This kind of behavior shows me that they don't have a clue yet, so I wouldn't expect a release very soon :/

Yeah, we can't trust any store's release date. We have to get the official one from Blizzard first.

i hope so, what i mean by that is fights with epic purportions, wave after wave of mobs coming at you & having to spend 20 minutes fighting nonstop to get to a certain boss, and once you get to the boss, the fight lasts 10 minutes

just sheer epicness, epicness that will scare the shit out of you, make you doubt your chars ability and gear to face the boss

make your friend look over ypur shoulder and be in awe of the shit you are doing

Well, fuck. Now I want raid-sized dungeons in D3. The ones like in WoW where it takes hours to complete.

@Rednine I'm expecting items related to the Lost Viking game--A named shield, sword, and boots (were those the items? I haven't played that game in ten years).

no raids in D3, please no, i know they wouldnt work the same as wow, but i think 4 people is enough

you would end up having to have tanks and healers, plus dont it would work, it would become an mmo

I didn't mean huge groups, just very large dungeons that take a long time to get through.

    =edit=

However, I would not mind large-group raids available as a lobby selection, randomly generated dungeons topped off by a randomly generated super enemy or two.
