Let me be the first to commend your attitude regarding a design element you don't like lol. If everyone could take things this well then the community would be a hell of a lot nicer in general.

We made the map full screen, completely opaque and prevented commands from being sent while it is open to stop this from occurring. But ty for ur very useful comments I appreciate it very much!
Though I don't think they avoid the "being a dot on the map" problem, since as I said, I can just hold down left click to move and open-close-open-close the map and it will be always the same as in diablo 2 but in an annoying way. Well whatever, they didn't need to ask me when they made this decision!
