The other video demonstrates his almost 7 minute fight with the Skeleton King.
All this video does is show it to be a complete waste of time for MP10 in normal. He took 7 minutes for 1 yellow and a blue? You can do that in any mode.
The point of playing in MP10 normal (or any other lower difficulty) is not for efficency, it's for challenge. You will get more efficient leveling using a fairly low MP as you can still kill quickly and get 20% XP gain per MP level. I imagine MP 2 or 3 might be the most efficent for someone just running through with no twink gear. This could be increased if you have some gear on reserve for that character.
As for item finding, unless you're in act 3/4 in Hell or in Inferno, I don't see many people careing or using MP for item hunting. Not unless you want to take a lvl 60 into MP10 and farm for low level legendaries for an alt or something.

Wow, this is shocking.
How are people agreeing with a nerf more than not???
I think Blizzard finally succeeded in brainwashing people.
EDIT: Clearing up for clairty and after re-reading the original.
I think it's about being reasonable. You can't just buff everything, if you do, there'd be nothing left and everything would be trivial. I think people are finally starting to realize you sometimes have to bring things down in order to maintain balance. Otherwise they'd then have to buff the monsters all over again and we'd start seeing ridiculous numbers and values all becuase no one wanted to see the word "nerf".

MP10 in normal is to level faster, imo very usefull if you want to start a new char.
Not entirely true. MP10 appears to be for challenge more than anything else. There's even a thread here in Diablofans that shows it's not efficient even though you have higher levels for the content that you're at. If you were to twink out a character, then maybe it could be efficient.

y'know I'm not quite sure yet. I did with patches 10-12 for the first 2 classes I played before moving on, but this time I'm not sure. I think I might just do lvl13 first because the addition of the runes means I have more things to unlock per level and thus to talk about.

If you haven't seen my other playthroughs for Patch 10-12 they are on my channel as well. Videos will be 1080p.

Overall, however, I think we just don't know enough about the end game and what the costs of the artisans are going to be to make an informed decision at this point.

I was only guessing here, but looks like I was right.. and I'm quite happy that level 30+ has something to look forward to.

Very true, Blizzard's build is way ahead of ours. What we're getting now in beta is probably even old to them. Considering they stated they are very close to finalizing these things, I'm pretty sure there won't be any more 'radical' changes coming down the pike after this.

When you think about it, this isn't a radical change, it's just a flavor change. Honestly, the skill tree names were too generic. "spiriit spender" "spirit generator" "hatred spender" "hatred generator". Now the classes have names for each category that makes sense and sounds more like the D2 trees. I like it as I like having small flavor text like this to match the class theme.
I'm wondering how this rune system will work out, seems a shame to remove runes from drops.. However, this could give characters that reach level 30 something to get when they level. Since you unlock all your skills at 30, you could then start to get the more impressive runs with each level beyond instead of just stat boosts. I kind of like that idea, as leveling without unlocking something feels slightly dry to me.

The Wizard, Barbarian, and Witch Doctor are very close to their original counterparts, but while they have some of the more recognizable skills, they also have a lot of new ones that make up for the classes former weaknesses or make them more interesting to play.
I would still like to see a return of the Necromancer as a playable class someday, even though I like the Witch Doctor. Something about throwing down debuffs while leading an army into battle felt cool.
I think the other two classes have more of a hybrid feel than being directly associated with any one class.
The Monk can be seen as a hybrid Paladin and martial arts Assassin. You have mantras that replace the auras, a healing ability (that can be runed to do damage) and the combat combos that the Martial Arts Assassin had.
The Demon Hunter seems to have inspiration from several sources. Many skills are favorites of the Bow-azon, but you also have traps and sentries of the Assassin, and a companion formally belonging to the Druid.
Overall the classes feel different enough and have many new abilities that make it fun again, at least in my opinion.

When patch 13 comes out I plan to go through and record again if any significant changes happen. Please have a look and leave some feedback. Considering I'm new to this whole commentary thing, I'm always open to constructive criticism.

This is the problem with reviews in general, both professional and personal. Of course, professional reviewers are SUPPOSED to find flaws so you know exactly what you're getting into.
I've seen where a lot of nitpicks cause people to give game reviews of 1/10 on gamefaqs.com just because the game wasn't the same as their favorite game or they had a complaint that really wasn't a problem with the game itself. This happened alot when MW3 fanboys and BF3 fanboys alike would poorly review the competition just because Modern Warfare is not Battlefield. It makes no sense to me.
I do, however, like to read bad reviews like that. Because, if I can find a review that rates something 1/10 and I say to myself "well that doesn't sound that bad at all, really" then that product just might be okay.
As an added note: Let's face it, reviews are all about personal oppinion and you are never going to please everyone 100% of the time. What 95% of a populations loves, 5% will somehow hate. But if we all liked the same things, the world wouldn't be as interesting a place.

I wanted to throw my hat into the ring, as it were, since people have been asking for Beta impressions. I got in on the February 1st wave and decided to make recordings right away. I have just finished a 6 part series as I played through on my Wizard and I talked about the differences between old beta versions (which I couldn't have done without this site) and how I felt about changes from Diablo II to Diablo III.
What I'm really hoping for is feedback on the videos in order to improve as I want to start adding commentary to other videos and increasing the quality of my YouTube channel and hoping you fine ladies and gents could assist with that.
Unfortunately, I don't have access to YouTube where I'm at, so I don't have a direct link to the video, but the first part is featured on my channel. So if you'd like to check it out, please go to http://www.youtube.c...ser/RurouniKage and view it. All videos are presented in 1080 HD.
Your feedback and comments are appreciated.
