The other video demonstrates his almost 7 minute fight with the Skeleton King.
All this video does is show it to be a complete waste of time for MP10 in normal. He took 7 minutes for 1 yellow and a blue? You can do that in any mode.
The point of playing in MP10 normal (or any other lower difficulty) is not for efficency, it's for challenge. You will get more efficient leveling using a fairly low MP as you can still kill quickly and get 20% XP gain per MP level. I imagine MP 2 or 3 might be the most efficent for someone just running through with no twink gear. This could be increased if you have some gear on reserve for that character.
As for item finding, unless you're in act 3/4 in Hell or in Inferno, I don't see many people careing or using MP for item hunting. Not unless you want to take a lvl 60 into MP10 and farm for low level legendaries for an alt or something.

Wow, this is shocking.
How are people agreeing with a nerf more than not???
I think Blizzard finally succeeded in brainwashing people.
EDIT: Clearing up for clairty and after re-reading the original.
I think it's about being reasonable. You can't just buff everything, if you do, there'd be nothing left and everything would be trivial. I think people are finally starting to realize you sometimes have to bring things down in order to maintain balance. Otherwise they'd then have to buff the monsters all over again and we'd start seeing ridiculous numbers and values all becuase no one wanted to see the word "nerf".

MP10 in normal is to level faster, imo very usefull if you want to start a new char.
Not entirely true. MP10 appears to be for challenge more than anything else. There's even a thread here in Diablofans that shows it's not efficient even though you have higher levels for the content that you're at. If you were to twink out a character, then maybe it could be efficient.

And now I'm creeped out. Ladies and gents, I'm sorry for the delay this video went up early today but I forgot to update this post. To my defense I was kind of tired and zonked out, but that is merely an excuse. If you want the quick and dirty update to Blizzcon last night, here it is. All the fine details are of course covered on this wonderful site called diablofans, be it in the datamined thread or on the front news page.

An overview of what was covered during Day 2 of Blizzcon for Diablo 3. The Gameplay Systems and Crusader panel and the Open Q&A are both covered. Not as much new information covered as I hoped, but a lot of information available for those who haven't been following the leaked datamined information.

Diablo Digest: Blizzcon Report Day 1 - Reaper of Souls Preview
Diablo Digest is a video podcast focusing on Diablo 3 news and updates.
Recording 11/8/2013
A quick announcement on what information was given out during Blizzcon 2013 and what we can expect from Reaper of Souls. Most of the information released was already detailed in datamining so the bulk of the interesting announcements will most likely come out tomorrow.

I did and it was an interesting evolution. It is pretty random still and I probably did get hit with some bad luck. What I was happy to hear is that they want to make constructed a viable play option as well so we can earn some nice rewards with our crafty.. uh, crafted decks.

I do certainly agree that there could be more 'class specific' cards as everything is so based on the neutral cards right now. There's time, we are only in the beta and basically the "core" set. Once 'expansions' start hitting, it could be interesting. one thing I would like to see is a way to do arena with constructed decks. It just seems a little off that draft gets all the fun, you unlock all these cards that you can only use in the 'casual' mode and you can only get gold through dailies. I'd like to see it expanded so if you have this really cool deck you can show it off in a mode that might win you something (y'know, like a torney or something). Since it would be a seperate mode, you could still just play draft (arena) if that's your thing.

This is the last of the pre-recorded sessions, videos after this will be more recent and I'll have unlocked more cards than seen in these videos to try and make some more interesting decks.

This video shows some of the worst maches I had while learning the game. Please keep in mind that these videos were pre-recorded awhile back and even I cringe at some plays. I remember being exceptionally tired this night so my decision making was impaired to say the least.

The problem here really is trying to compare a Free to Play DotA clone to a retail ARPG. They don't have the same business model let alone the same gameplay type. Putting together a new Champion or a new skin is a little different from changing drop spawns and radomization procedures or even skills in any serious maner other than number tweaking. For a Free to Play game releasing constant content to get people to pay for it is your life blood. For Blizzard, releasing new content agressivly like a F2P is not cost effective as they don't see immediate return on their investment. On top of that Blizzard has a notorious QA process where every little change has to be put through localization and tests. Not that their QA catches everything, but even wording changes have to go through localization QA to update all the other languages.
The truth is they have constantly updated and adjusted the game, it's just been stagnant lately due to their work on RoS. We're not going to see anything happen until they're ready to put out the pre-expansion patch. Things like Paragon 2.0 are part of the RoS 'package' as it were. They're also itirating on it still (read: it's not done) so saying it could come out early is kind of wishful speculation.
The same goes with the skill changes. If you look at the datamined changes they're moving numbers around as well as changing how skills function so it's going to be a pretty big undertaking. Many of the changes will probably be based on the inclusion of new skills, items, and passvies so you really can't look at the changes in a vacuum. Heck, even some rune functionality is changing so it's not something simple as numbers they can change in a small monthly patch.
I admit I've been upset that we hadn't seen any updates for quite some time, but once RoS got announced I understood why. We see this all the time from Blizzard, they are putting all their resources on making massive changes which they see as being more useful than making small 'band-aid' type fixes. They had even stated multiple times in the past they wanted to make functionality changes to skills but they needed the time, tech, and resources to make it happen which is exactly what the time just before an xpack provides.
It's not perfect, but it's how they do things.

It took me a little while to get what you meant by that last one, so I looked it up.. errr.. The only thing I can really say is you might have to deal with that for a couple more episodes since they're pre-recorded. Sorry But, I'm gald that's the only real issue so thank you!
WIth that said, here's the next.. Uh.. Stone video.

I happened to pay a long overdue visit to MMO-Champion and noticed the schedule and floor plans there. That pretty much inspired today's Digest video as well. Needless to say my heart sank a little when I noticed all the WoW panels. If I were still playing WoW I'd b happy, but RoS seems like it could use a little more hyping considering the best news to come out of RoS has been here on Diablofans rather than from any of the official Blizzard channels. Datamined information > the boring legendaries they showed at GamesCom yo!

I'm going to admit I'm really sad D3 is getting minimal coverage at Blizzcon, but I guess the important stuff is going to be mechanics. We get all of 4 panels at Blizzcon this year and 3 don't really count for information since one is about the cinematic, another about lore and the last is a Q&A (gods I wish I could be there to ask a question as Deckard, demanding he come back as the hero. HAH).
So the important thing is going to be mechanics about the game. We get about an hour of this, not even art or world design panels. Everything is dedicated to WoW's next expansion. I understand WoW is the money maker, but it still makes me sad not to see more D3. Fingers crossed that our hour will be better than everyone else's hour.

This time I talk a little about health in Diablo 3 as related to MMO healing, something that Blizzard has struggled with in the past. Even World of Warcraft delt with the too much damage too quickly issue where health just didn't seem to matter as much, so it's a little funny to think they're having this problem again this time in an ARPG.
Some shout outs to MMO-Champion, Diablofans, and even community member CardinalMDM's own suggestions on what Torment Difficulty could mean.
