another thing you may want to consider is the gear you can get. If you have a wizard, maybe you get gear that is for a fire wizard or an arcane one. if you get several things like that it may be more beneficial to stay one build over the others and switching from fire to, lets say frost, would be dumb cause your gear is for fire

Hey, not trying to rub it in people faces but got a beta key from posting on the forums. Just letting everyone know they have sent out some and that you should be active and it is possible. I would suggest you try playing D2 single player and then ask yourself if it was easy. Once you get into hell you better know what you are doing or you are completely boned. normal was a joke in D2 also. I know there is no single player in this game but the point still stand for D3. As long as you don't have people doing everything for you it will be a challenge, and even if you do have people run you through till hell, good luck with inferno. Can also play hardcore if it seems to easy.

One of the earliest memories i have from diablo is from the diablo 1 butcher. He was pretty hard and I was a paladic andfound a way to get a scroll or staff of firewall and got the butcher to pace around outside a door on an iron fence and used the firewall to kill him. I remember it more than other things because it was just outsmarting the game in order to kill something that was difficult

I have been trying to get the beta since the beginning of the giveaways. Not ashamed to say i created this account when they started doing contests on the website for a chance to get one and i had some pretty good submissions but never won. I want a chance to get a look at all the classes and game play that way i can help out some other people i will be playing with once it actually comes out. Plus, i am pretty bored of all the games i currently play and need something new to take up some of my time

I have been wondering about this for some time. I have seen people talking about how you can get gear that will increase your gold pickup range, which is awesome, but you can also get gear that increases your globe pickup range.

It seems to me that the globe pickup range could actually hurt you more than it would help. You could be accidentally picking up health globes at inopportune times and have none around when you actually need them.

I'm not saying that it is a bad stat completely, but it seems like it could just work at a disadvantage without meaning to.

I actually like these contests more than the mass beta key giveaways. It gives people the chance who actually keep up with it a chance to get in. I'm sure the mass beta key giveaways have gone to some people who have hardly even touched the game where as people who get it from here will probably play it quite a bit.

Summoning an army made the game kind of boring i thought. You really don't have to do anything. You can just stand there and let your minions do all the work, which i don't think was the point of them. Only being able to summon a few makes your character more important than just having to resummon

I would think that 2's would be the most played. It is just easier to find someone to plays 2's with. Otherwise you have to start scheduling times where 3 or 4 people have to be on at the same time which wont usually happen. 1v1 could be pretty interesting because the ability to counter each class is there with varying your build

If the release would have been q1 but was pushed till q2 because they want console release at the same time i would be really disappointed.

Is there a reason for those 5 things along the bottom of the loading screen or is it supposed to be a loading progress indicator?

The entry that won the 3rd contest sucks. Even though it is better than all the MJ, troll, and magic fountain ones, there were WAY better ones than it. I doubt they go through all of them but I think a better idea for them would be to pick a few of them and have people vote on which one they like best.
