the custom title is only thing we got, try to see things in our perspective.
I don't think releasing a list will help things, I'll tell you what though. As a thank you to everyone who entered you will all receive custom titles. Just PM me with a link to your submission and what you'd like your title to be.

What he probably meant by legal issues is that it's possible that the winner may sue DiabloFans for using his lego on items that gives money to DiabloFans and not to creator of the logo (royalties). Yes the rules says that the person is not suppose to ask for money but in court that is not enough to save DiabloFans ass if there was a sue case.
When you do contest like that it's really hard and long to make proper legal stuff that will prevent any problems...
Also what he probably meant by the chances that the logo design as pretty low chance to match the new website is that when you create a website design you often have to redo the logo with it to match the design. You do not do a design of a website around a logo.... So if they do a website design there's few chances that the logo will match perfectly with the website.
On another note, Boubouille you should at least say which logo you prefered out of the lot (Staff vote), just so people who spend many hours doing it won't be pissed and felt it was a lost of time.. And that even if their logo won't be used.

Boubouille "took over" administration of Dfans after the contest was started, but before it was concluded.
As it goes with all changing of management, not everything falls in to place right away and some changes will be made.
It's regretful, but it doesn't mean we don't appreciate the entries we've received and there's not one of us that don't wish the whole thing had turned out differently (in regards to the competition).

The logo contest is kinda cancelled, yes, mostly because I don't want to announce a winner if we're not going to use his logo anyway. I requested a redesign of the site when I took over and there's no way we can just use someone's else logo, first because the chances that it will fit the new design are pretty low, and also because there's a shitton of potential legal issues.
Let's assume we start selling Diablofans t-shirt tomorrow, or Diablofans branded plush puppies, and whoever was the winner of the logo contest can sue our ass. Let's assume we have tons of Diablofans promo at the next Curse Party at Blizzcon, same problem, etc ... There's just too many issues with that contest and I can't go through with it, it wasn't my decision but feel free to yell at me anyway.
On a sidenote, future contests (assuming we have something interesting to give away) will be much simpler, I don't really like situations where picking winners is purely subjective.

I hope they choose one of them. There are many people's efforts in those submissions. And there are many logos way better than the old one. At least some information can be given about the contest, about what will happen. I'm sure I'm not the only one checking the forum everyday for the winner.
