Cooldown reduction will help alleviate that thankfully
I missed the reduced cooldown. Where is that exactly?
It's one of the new affixes that roll on gear, as well as part of the offensive tab in the paragon 2.0 window, and the new gem (diamond) also gives cd reduction if socketed on the head slot.

I really liked the assassin in d2 so i'm making a new version of it ^^
This new version is related to a poisons build which would be more focused on elite killing or pvp, i even put in some cooldowns and numbers, hoping to give the feeling of the overall build, but of course that would be balanced and the class would have more non poison related abilities and runes, hope you like it.
The Assassin:
Primary Stat: The Assassin would get damage from all 3 stats instead of just one, but only at a 50% rate compared to the other classes.
The Resource: Awareness (100), behaves kinda like a mix of fury and discipline, it raises very slowly, but dealing or receiving damage increases it's regenerating rate.
The Weapons: The Assassin can only dual wield, but he can use all 1h weapon types, and has a class specific hidden blade which can be equipped only in the off-hand.

Master Alchemist (Passive):
Each time you use a potion or pick up an health globe you also release a poison cloud around you applying a poison which stacks 5 times.
Poison damage: 0,4% of target's max health per sec
Poison lasts: 5 seconds

Poison Coated Blade (Passive):
Every 4th ability used by The Assassin also causes him to attack with his hidden blade, dealing 150% weapon damage to all enemies around him and applying a poison which stacks 5 times.

OT: i gave some thought to it and armor would be nice for a dual wield to compensate lack of shield, but i agree it could be a little higher per gem, like 1000, one would lose block but get 2k armor instead, paired with some LS weps and LOH jewelry could make a good alternative to the standard we now have.
@Sexton i really like that concept also, where you could for example mix a 50 int and 50 vit gem into a 25 of both, would be definatly interesting.

if it had more crit or more all resist everyone would use sapphires, and the idea is more diversity ^^

Heyas, I created this gem because i think it would be a really worthy addition to the game, and i don't think it would be that game breaking.
The Armor would raise just like life on hit on amethyst per gem tier
The Crit would raise 0,25% per gem tier
The All resist would raise at half the normal stats rate per gem tier
What do you guys think? worthy addition or gamebreaking?
