There surprisingly is only 150 people online right now according to the servers. Maybe the "mass" invite, wasn't so mass.
Isn't that for "public" games? 75% of my games have been single player.

Not to mention, aren't a lot of people who got in the beta (US) are still at work right now?

...revenue comes in from subs and stores and blizzcon etc
Doesn't Blizzard lose money on Blizzcon (or break even)?

I'm sure Mass Effect is a great game (I've never played :S) but does it have the replayability of Diablo 3?

EDIT: And Diablo 3 has some serious replayability. I've gotten as much play time (in hours) from the tiny beta as I have gotten from $60 full-release titles...now THAT is saying something.

Alienware is a waste of money in my opinion.

It's between the XPS17 and the Sager. Based on the prices and the specs you gave me, I'd say the Sager is a better deal. They make great quality laptops (from what I've read, never owned one).

    Sager gets my vote.

The Hex looks pretty pimpin', but way more than I'd ever want to spend on a mouse.

I'll just stick to my $10 Logicrap mouse, it's done me well the past few years :P

Yeah, only one artisan per account. It will work like, you level your monk to 60 and, with him, your choosen artisan. If you decide to create an wizard alt, I.E., this wizard will access the same high-level artisan as your monk. This is how works on beta, and so far, it will work on live. If you decide to sell your monk in the A.H., you will not loose your artisan, as it is bound to your account.

And indeed, it will be necessary to have a friend to access the other artisan you didn't chose. Or be patient and 'hunt' someone to do the job for you in public games/forums/chat rooms etc.
Where was this stated? I have never read about there being only 1 per account. I know they are account bound, but you can still get both of them.

getting more then 1GB is only useful with massive resolutions or multiple screens. thats it. so for anyone using your resolution and less with get zero benefit of a 2gb card. its just like how people stack 8 GB of RAM because they think it will help when there computer will never use more then 4GB
So, like I said originially, it depends on your settings. Anyone running lower than 1680x1050 won't benefit from 2GB of VRAM. However, anyone running 1680x1050 can easily use over 1GB with high textures and AA...thus benefiting from a 2GB card.

Per my earlier example, I'm already using over 1GB in Skyrim and thats with the stock (crappy) textures the game shipped with.

dont get any 2gb cards. its a waste of money. your computer doesnt utilize all of it so your paying extra for no reason. just FYI
This is not entirely true. It all depends on your resolution, how much AA you use, and the quality of textures you use. At 1680x1050 I'm already over 1GB VRAM in Skyrim.

Always smart to spend time farming mats in beta. Definitely a good use of time.
And what if you actually enjoy farming mats? If you're having fun, then it's not a waste of time.

I try to max out each of my characters everytime there is a wipe (which I look forward to because it gives me an excuse to start over :P). Not only do I have fun playing the game, but the large blocks of playtime increase my chances of finding any potential bugs.

Kinda doesn't make sense for them to have corpse looting in D3.
Compare it to D2 abit quickly.

In d2 you would lose the entire stash aswell as the contents of your inventory, with D3 having corpse looting you would basically not lose anything aside from what you recently picked up.
Indeed...This is also a way for them to keep the value of items in Hardcore.

I'm personally fine with the whole "must beat normal to play hardcore" as (like Molster) I was planning to complete normal first anyway.

As for the "changes" that "snuck in"...Call me pesimistic, but I have a feeling it's just about the various class changes and the removal of the scroll of companion.
