    - once I started making my meteorb, I couldn’t just change my mind, and turn her into an enchantress.
    - Now, why would I make more than 5 characters (1 character per class). I could simply switch things around if I chose to. It seems like there is no incentive to replay the game with the same class.
Again, then don't change the build. Start over from lvl 1 just like in D2. No one is stopping you.
I think he needs the"OMFG Screwd up my build start over punishment"<- This is stupid

Teleport and a 1 sec timer starts.
Teleport again and a new 1 sec timer starts.
Teleport again after that and another 1 sec timer starts.

So in simple terms you can keep teleporting as much as you want until you either stop or run out of AP. Making Wiz the preferred class for farming low level zones and rushing for sure.

I disagree... he said as many times as the animations will let you cast within 1 second.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaqGElJRp4g

Teleporting for 6 seconds straight using Wormhole Rune, starting at 7 seconds.

You're using Beta hacked clients as evidence, which we dont use as evidence of how an ability actually works. We just use it for how the ability animation looks, which is wrong some of the time as well.
    this is outdated

This is just posted from the current release.

    Hope this helps

So I've taken the day of work to play D3 and have spent the afternoon just looking at a login screen with errors.

I don't care about Blizzards technical issues, thats not my problem. They are a company like any other, selling a product that I have purchased that so far doesn't work. They have chosen to make a game that requires internet and server access even for a single player experience. I have no issues with technical issues when I'm trying to play online multiplayer but this... is just ludicrous.

I have a wife, young daughter and a demanding job and my time is very precious and for this reason I have actually taken time off work to play D3 as I have very little time to do it in my day to day life. I don't want to go for a walk, get something to eat or chill out. I had taken time of work, using holiday pay and causing more work to go back to tomorrow for nothing.

In about 30 minutes It'll be time to go and pick up my daughter, put on some dinner and then it'll be back to daily grind tomorrow and trying to squeeze in an hour each night of free time to play D3... thats if its working of course.

Sounds like you have no idea how a game works, or how a game that has thousands if not millions of people connecting to servers. If you are a father and have a wife I would think you to be more responsibly and logical. Look at any past blizzard launch, at one point in time the servers go down, it always happens. Do not get upset that you can not play, be upset that you wasted your own time. Do not come on the forums and complain when Blizzard has done this for 7 + years.

Why are you defending corporate bastards??? They have so much money that you cannot even imagine! Don't you think that the least Blizzard should have done was to ensure server stability after years of waiting for game development and 6 months launch delay? They surely could have spend a few millions for more/better servers.

And GIVE THE OP A BREAK!!! He regularely bought the game and he deserved to play on 00:01 like every other player!
corporate bastards!?! are you an idiot? Blizzard could have done things like EA and release pitiful games,my example is from Command and Conquer 4 they rushed it and it sucked, instead they make epic games. All the complainers here need to grow up and learn some patience. BTW i bought the game and didn't get to play for hours after launch cause of servers but I am not going to complain because it is a blizzard game and they have NEVER let us down.

You knew better. This, trouble with the servers in the beginning, was a given with this kind of game. Sorry you took off but i think 90+% of the community expected this, even as we hoped it wouldn't happen. Suck it up, the servers will be stabilized soonTM.

Just remember that this is likely to be one of the best games ever made once the servers are stabilized. :)
It'll be great and I look forward to playing, but not remembering that they completely failed the launch isn't the right thing to do.

Do you know anything... i mean ANYTHING AT ALL about networking?

Do you know what a denial of service attack is ? Do you realize that this many people hitting their servers at once is the same as a massive DoS attack?

Or you do you just want to complain more... just like you did about everything diablo 2?
wtf are you talking about diablo 2 for?

But really. DoS attacks can only happen when you aren't expecting the traffic. If you know that 382947u23894892348923489yhwefuhs328942 people are going to log in at the same time, you better prepare for it.

Overplanning can be quite costly.... the bottleneck is not the people playing... its the authentication servers. Diablo 3 will NEVER have as many people playing at one time as it does the first week after launch... its just that everyone is trying to do it NOW because its first available... eventually people will move into their gaming routines and traffic will decrease.

Considering Blizzard knew exactly how many people preordered the game, you would expect that they would be able to handle the server load.

This is one reason why online only singleplayer is a fucking retarded idea. Shame the RMAH is a thing because thats the only reason there isn't any offline singleplayer.
Bliz really did this you remedy the fans complaints about botting. It wont be bad once they stabilize the servers.

Like any other huge title! (also all of the wow expansions and the game itself)... no point for all you kids to whine about it! And I bet that even if you whine, you'll still grind mindlessly until both physically and mentally exhausted! :tyrael:

Coming from someone who likes to hide their age, you must be such a mature adult. Well actually what pisses me off is I actually work, and having the servers down for over 75% of the time I am able to play is quite upsetting. Of course I will still play the game, because it is simply amazing. Just wish they could have handled this better seeing as how it took them to actually release the game.

Remind me once again why I need to show my age to complete strangers? That's my business to handle :]
Ofcourse it is upsetting, but flaming the whole game just because of a laggy launch? That's plainly bashing the game without a reason. No wonder D3 has ~ 4/10 rating on metacritic(dot)com

What's the big deal if someone knows how old you are? Unless you're trying to hide your age to look much older/younger on the internet for whatever reason... And the game isn't being bashed, Blizzard is. And to say they, as in Blizzard, not Diablo III, are being bashed without reason is very ignorant. It took them this long to release the game, they should have been prepaired.
Well you kinda made it a point by calling him out on his age...

I completely agree but seriously it is not easy to predict the types of strain on the servers that are being put on these servers. Yes you can simulate but simulation are only as good as the data that you provide them with hence not always being reliable ie Diablo is a new system that is quite different than even wow, just to have a comparison point. Just cut them some slack. They didn't spend 6+ years on a game just to make our lives miserable. they will get it fixed.

Only Blizzard titles are that big...
    Not true at all.

Not that it matters, since they knew how many people would be playing and had plenty of time to prepare. A smaller game may need less servers, but they still need enough to handle everyone.

GW2 failed at this on the first beta weekend, they fixed it in 20 minutes.

GW2 is you comparison point... oh my that is the problem right there These two games are not even close to the same size both in player base and in scale of the system that has been developed for D3

This only happens with Blizzard titles.

That's cause Blizzard makes games for the largest player base in the world. I don't have any statistics but can you really argue about this?
