I enjoy both solo and group play, its a good way to pass the time. I also agree that to an extent D3 is an easy game. Blizzard has Leaderboards for both Solo and Group pushes to accommodate all types of play
so your post is confusing, You find the same items, same quests, same bosses, same rifts, and same RNG no matter if you play group or Solo. The only difference happens to be the small boost to XP, MF, and Gold Find you get in a group. unless you think you need to be able to solo the same Grift as the you would in a top tier Group.
Also your post showed some aggression to "Elitists" saying the game requires no skill, but in all honesty it takes practice and proper planning to do what they do. You're making a generalization based off of aggression. There was no point in that part of your post except to anger a small community of gamers. If you don't like group play don't take your frustrations out on people who do, just solo and be happy for the great experiences you've had playing diablo.

RageMachine551 is playing on the PS3 so it doesn't update with the PC version. It is stuck on ROS release patch and a couple hotfixes. so he won't have access to Kanai's cube or most of the Adventure mode only maps (if not all). The PS3 Community has suffered substantially since the release of D3 on PS4. There are still some good people out there but they are far and few. I fixed my problem with the community by throwing a controller to my wife ^_^. I still play Public games weather I'm on my PC or PS4 but the communities are much better. The issue is most Players for the console aren't there to socialize due to the inability to with out a mic.
Yeah spectral blades is only used for Arcane Dynamo / Trimvirate (or however you spell it) procs. most of the damage comes from the Arcane Orbs. I'm one piece shy of having Firebirds. the only worry I have about switching over is survivability. I'll love my slow time DR, and My Aqulia Curiass DR. which is quite a lot. once I get the Plume i'll give it a shot. But I don't know how to fix my toughness issue. beside the obvious "DON'T GET HIT"
Thanks Cratic. I didn't think AD would make much of a difference. but I've only attempted Grift 45 solo. I've been trying for CHC and CHD. and amazingly I haven't found an oculus ring this season ... Last season they seemed to drop like candy, same with the endless walk set. I'll try this out when I get home.
Nah, It's ok. It's fresh into the season, most people are doing their own testing. I'm just indecisive. I was just hoping for some advice from more seasoned players. I just came back to D3 at the end of S5, I'm still fooling around with builds. Looking for speed builds for PLVLing others for the communities cause this Wizard is pretty slow. Last season my Jade WD and Invoker Sader were tough and fast, but I also didn't get to push rifts like I wanted to. Hell I'm a filthy causal I play maybe 21-30 hrs a week I'll figure it all out eventually right now just having fun.
I decided to start as a wizard this season and use the DMO set to farm up a bit. I like the play style but I was wondering if it could still push this season? I haven't got to put much time into him yet but here is my character Xander. Not sure how I can tweak my build, survivability at first seems low but picks up quickly and I feel almost invincible (on T6) highest rift I've been in is 47 I think and my damage seems lacking. Not sure if I need to got for Compass Rose, Traveler's, and COE. Or if I should go for Focus, Restraint, HFA. I'll lose the DR while moving but I'll get the Damage increase nearly permanently. Any suggestions?
Also: I'm not a fan of the Energy Twister build cause I believe the corner trick is a little cheesy, although at times taking more skill than I have.
(Picking up Pieces of Firebirds, and Tal Rashas on the way. Just in Case ^_^)
When I attempted my first Grift 20 solo this season for my last 2 pcs. I was in the 4 pcs and just some bad yellows. I finished with 5 mins or so to spare I believe. as stated above the only issue is damage your durability is fine. I'd use disintegrate with entropy for your damage dealer. if you can get an Orb of Infinite Depth, add Explosive Blast with the Chain Reaction Rune on it for a low cost boost to damage. keep those slow times up and take your time. baby steps, if you need to skip low density mobs to go for an elite, do it. it will seem close at first unless you get a great rift but you can do it :-)

Go ahead and shift the quest down. I won't hurt your story progress with your solo character. If you entered the game on the lvl 1 characters thats the reason you are getting this message. you'll be fine and if it does mess with your solo character, it's unintentional and needs to be addressed with blizz (they can't recover anything for you but if it's a big deal they'll hotfix it) you'll only lose your progress up to the beginning of that particular quest anyway so, 5-10min of play that you've already done? trust me it'll be worth it to play with your wife ^_^. My wife and I love to play together. it's the only reason I picked the game up on PS4 (she hates CPU version). But I've rambled, the short version is; "Do it you'll be fine, Nothing will affect your solo character."

Well only PS3 and Xbox360 are missing the content. PS4 and Xbox1 are up to date (with the exception of seasons [due to modded gear]).
