Nice! I also hopped on hoping to be able to find a legendary, and did! Just some bracers not even worth takin a picture, but they were a slight upgrade, i'll take it!
With the changes in the official patch notes and using gear / talents smartly it should be no problem keeping any pets alive. I'm interested to see what can work out. I'm sure your build will be alright, the only problem I really see is zombie bears with no mana gain from abilities or talents at all. Spiritual attunement in place of gruesome feast might be something to consider
I'm just excited to give spider queen a try and see if the Crit dmg / life procs count for her as well!!
Crit is better per point! Crit chance value is going up as you gain crit damage and crit damage value goes up as you gain crit chance, so at start IAS gear will look more appealing when you first start stacking crit, but when you get 30+ crit chance and 200+ crit damage numbers skyrocket to the roof. I don't say that IAS should not be considered but the more crit stats you get, the more deeps you get. At start 1 crit chance was valued at 11 int and crit damage at 1 int while IAS was 12. Now with 37% crit chance and 250% crit damage each crit chance is worth 26 int and crit damage 4 int while IAS stayed at 12.
Again, Crit isn't always better per point, nor is IAS. It's entirely dependent upon one's gear. Crit is better for you, IAS is better for me.
Items can adjust skills with sets and random traits as well.
There are no affixes or set bonuses currently[known] in the game that raise the cap of 4 dogs.
Ya, I haven't seen an affix or set bonus that does that.. only cooldown reduction on dogs i think. Have you seen the spider queen in use by chance? It's kinda frustrating that people know this on the other side of the world lol The tooltip only says "you may only have 1 spider queen summoned at a time". I guess it could have a timer where it goes away like the other spiders, but it seems like it could be a constant pet. I've just never seen an official word on how that rune works/
I haven't actually. To me it seems like it's the same way that the normal spiders are. You throw the jar, a queen hatches and runs around spawning little ones for 5-10 secs or something. Logically I would think that if It was a normal pet, it would have a cooldown associated with the skill, or atleast a duration.
Seems like everyone has different ideas of what it does lol Guess we'll see soon enough! Its definitely one of those vague runes that we just gotta see to know how it works

Interesting.. I've seen the videos with the spider, but never heard of these numbers.
20% per sec AOE poison seems pretty solid though..
