I've been playing since September. I can definitely say the lack of content has bored me as well, but if you look at how much we don't have it shouldn't surprise anyone.
We literally have less than 3% of what is available in the game. Unless you're really hardcore about it, it will undoubtedly get boring.
This is my second day on the beta. I was up until 1 AM playing with the demon hunter skills and trying to hit level 13 and get crafted gear. Then I transfered the crafting materials and the items that dropped from Leoric and started a wizard, who is now also 13. Monday I'll do the same thing with a barbarian etc. I really want full beta achievements before there's a reset or something. LOL!

lol why do people get mad when I say the beta is boring? If your mad about it get in then play it if you have nothing else to say deal with it and wait it out
I've watched, wow, roughly 60+ hours of game play footage, a lot Force Strategy stuff, blizzcons pvp stuff, builds, patch reviews, random peoples play throughs, I've watched SOOO much. I have a friend who has beta (I don't) but I've found a few things (spelling mistakes mostly, and some random glitches, sugguests, etc)... that I have sent off to blizzard, and I'm not even in Beta, I havn't even played once, just watched SOOO many videos and with a background in gamming/devlopment/design I have a keen eye, so I do my part.
I just wish I had beta, I would play soooo soooo much, there would be no way I'd be starting a thread like this lol (no offence).

Lol sorry, that's not me. I did go to Niagara College 3 years ago (drove from Hamilton every-day) - for Police Foundations...I did have a really hot blond chick as a friend, but I'm not tall, and I have brown hair.... and I'd still take you up on the offer tho, but I'm in my last year now at University of Ottawa, so home (and Mohawk) is a far drive.
I do have a lot of Police Foundations friends at the Brantford campus tho

the purpose of the Beta is for testing and bug reporting.
others want it becasue they have been waiting for D3 for over 10 years.
if you want to do your part, play the game, find bugs and report them.
That way people like us without the beta can play a bug free polished game
indeed, the beta is not really a free play
ive been trying hard to break the game iin many ways, ive tried getting mobs to bug out, esp the skelton king
ive tried making the envoirement crash, tried making my char crash
good fun trying shit like that, buts its holding up, the beta is winning at the mo
this is the exact reason for the Beta and the develepers intensions of releaseing it.
the beta key give aways is a marketing scheem by blizzard to ramp up hype about the game.
i would love to play the beta, but i would not complain that im board about it.
Totally agree with your arguments, some people wantig the beta key so badly and others just bored because they play a game too short for them, as you said this is not a game and the main reason for it its not people enjoy it its just for prepare a clean release of the game, people like this guy really makes me mad....

if you got bored so fast you really shouldnt have a beta key compared to some who would play the beta non stop for 2 weeks its just a waste that you have it. atleast thats my opinion.
Thats BS, you have no idea if you will play 1 hour of game content for 2 weeks.
I agree with the OP on this, the beta got boring after finishing it with each of the classes, but then again, the goal of the beta is not for us to have fun.

Main thing i hate about the facebook (and twitter) contest, is mainly the fact that it's a lore quiz... But it doesn't matter. I love lore, but my vast knowledge of Diablo lore doesn't matter shit, because by the time I see an update, it's already too late. I've seriously seen one posted 15 sec ago, and still got in at a 59'th place. I mean wtf is up with that.
The competition is more an endurance competition. Who can F5 the most, all day long. I just can't be bother for that.
I would much rather fill out 100 mega hard questions, and then the top 10 most answered got keys. And then have an timeframe of say 15 min to post or something.
But meh, I'll just not try and then find some contests where you actually have a chance in hell to actually answer.
ps. another way to go around the contest would be to announce the time every day, and then make like 3 questions each time, 1 easy 1 medium and 1 really hard, and users would need to have all 3 correct to win. Then one might stand a chance cause they wouldn't need to F5 like mad all day, and then be lucky.
