Dogs out front distracting mobs and doing some damage. Fire Bomb and Locust Swarm for the majority of my damage, which will be equally good for groups and single target. Mass Confusion for crowd control, runed to offer control even for the mobs that resist the confusion effect. Spirit walk runed with mana recovery doubles as an escape ability and mana regen. Soul Harvest for personal damage buff and runed for minor extra crowd control. Passives focus on mana regen and extra damage.
p.s obviously they would send out invites at least a day before beta..
I'm not so sure about that. I think you'll be able to log right in. It is well known that you'll be able to log onto battle.net and see the game in your license list as soon as you get the email, as that's how we were told to confirm that the email isn't fake. Thus your account will be flagged for beta, so unless the servers are down, shouldn't you be able to log right in?
The tooltip for spirit walk indicates that there is a "physical body" that is left behind and can keep taking damage, and this topic is a discussion of what exactly happens when your spirit walk ends. Consensus seems to be that the physical body will disappear or be transported to your new location somehow, and I agree with that assumption, but it would be nice to see it confirmed.
Also, I wouldn't mind seeing Firebomb used, specifically to check mana consumption (though, admittedly, it's action in early game is not really indicative of later)
Has anyone found vids of someone who leveled a WD to 13? I'd like to see the later skills in action. In particular, this confusion about spirit walk and how it works with regard to your physical form would be easily answered if we could see someone use it.
Dogs up in front distracting things and healing. Firebomb and Locust Swarm for damage. Mass confusion for CC/amplify damage as needed. Spirit walk for escape. Soul harvest for extra damage and mana regen. Could switch dogs to gargantuan and mass confusion to another CC if they seem to work better in practice.
