Mmm, now that I read this it does sound ambiguous...BUT this is how I understand it (maybe the way I want to read it ):
It doesn't matter how you want to read a mistranslated source. Trust me, I can read Korean, and relatively well. It simply does not say or imply anything about release date at all. It does not even imply that beta test for Korean region is being delayed until they get a rating, but that does not have to do with the release date I believe, since it is just sort of a fan service for Korean fans, and the actual testing is already being done in other regions for months now. (Blizz first said they do not have any plans for Korean beta and they don't think they will need to, then after some rage, they changed their plans.)
Also it is not about dispelling rumors. What it says is 'we will give you an update on the hot topics on the forums'. And there's nothing like a word 'issue' in that article. Please, oh please, that article is mistranslated beyond hope, please do not try to get any information about what google translator tells you.

They RE-submitted D3 on the 22de...without the "cash-out" option.
They first submitted their "material" (with RMAH) either on the 1 or 2 Dec...cause this article was written on the 18th and in the article it states that the GBR has asked for more material after 16 days of deliberations (media gets hold of it after it actually happened). Also the initial hearing was suppose to take place on the 21ste, but GBR requested for more material after 16 days.
And I don't think Blizz's big worry is the rating of D3, since the rating will be done before the RMAH situation. Thus having to have re-submitted, Blizz saying "they will not give us a rating [RMAH], and it's a problem" = sense, since their first submission wasn't good enough therefore "delayed" even further.
You are right about the date they first submitted the game, my bad
But it was still posted right after they submitted the game, and before GBR delayed the rating. It does not say anything about getting a rating being an 'issue'.(yet, anyways.) From what I heard they were pretty sure it will get a rating without to much trouble, but that might just be a rumor.
And also, RMAH is part of the rating. Rating does not happen until they GRB thinks RMAH is okay. Legally, RMAH does not have any problem in Korea, so I really do not know what GRB is thinking.
I understand why people are coming up with all the theory around Korean GRB being a factor in the delay, and I do not intend to insist it is right or wrong, but you are just taking information from wrong sources. Please disregard any sources in foreign language, unless you have a trusty translator by your side.(Am I trusty? well, I guess not because I just popped up in this forum like yesterday, but I will claim I am not lying or misunderstanding it anyway. )

Well said. Nothing good has ever come from D2 chat, and there's no reason to think D3 will be different. There's a reason why the public chat feature was such a late add to D3

DLC aside, Activision has no say in how Blizzard does business and vice versa. They are two different entities under one company.
Activision Blizzard is the publisher for Activision and Blizzard.

Keep in mind that this isn't WoW. D3 is a hack and slash that is centered around the gear you can get. I'd imagine some play for the story, but getting the best gear is THE end-game regardless of how many difficulties or levels there are. Unless Blizzard tries to change the hack and slash genre (action rpg), I wouldn't expect much more in the future. More levels, more gear, more spells, etc. If you are looking for more, D3 may not be the kind of game for you. None outside Blizz can say for sure. However, compared to so many other games out there that are completely linear and do have a definite end to the game, D3 has quite a bit of replay-ability. Then there's always PvP.
What's the point of an endless dungeon when you can replay entire difficulties whenever you want? PvE rankings...possible, who knows. I could see how many people would enjoy competing with others.

DN was made by two separate dev companies. Likewise, D3 has been made by at least two separate dev teams. Blizz North was a completely different group than those working on it now. Shoot, Blizz North was essentially a completely different company as they were still largely those from Condor. Between many key people leaving Blizz North and then being shut down completely, who knows how many hiatuses and dev teams were involved. Given the turnover, one could easily see three+ completely different teams working on the title.
WoW was created by one team. Poor communication and leadership were not the causes. A series of unfortunate corporate incidents is what caused the long dev time. D3 just happen to get caught up in the middle of it all.

You don't know what a "troll" is if you think he is one.

I'm going with WD. It's been my class of choice since day 1.

I've often wondered how many opposing SOPA do so because they want to continue downloading everything.

Yup, the DMCA has led to the US shutting down many .com, .org., and .net websites.

Actually, it does matter what the bill says as that's exactly what'll happen. This sounds like more conspiracy theory stuff that you are known for. Even Google, Facebook, etc understand what the bill says. They are in favor of getting rid of the foreign websites that this bill is going after. What they don't like are the proposed DNS changes (which are no longer in the bill), and what the bill may do to ISPs and payment processing companies.
If it were for corporate censorship then it would be something that affects ALL websites worldwide. It's clearly targeted at foreign-based websites that ONLY serve illegal content. That being the case, there is no logical evidence that points to corporate censorship. That's just baseless accusations.
And now it's clear you read nothing that I posted, as I was very clear on multiple occasions that I didn't support SOPA. As the rest of your post is more baseless theories and insults, I'm not going to address them.
Your first post said SOPA would affect Reddit and other US sites. I then gave plenty of evidence showing that isn't the case. Now you go on some completely new tangent claiming that it doesn't matter what the bill says, and at the same time making some crazy accusations with zero proof to back them up. Given that you still think SK is what caused the D3 delay, I'm not at all surprised you have taken this line of thinking with SOPA. Time to add you to the ignore list I guess.

They wouldn't amend SOPA to do that. It would be something added to the DMCA, as it already governs US sites.
Would they try to get a completely new bill pushed through that does what SOPA does but only for US sites? Doubtful, considering that the DMCA already exists. They may try to amend the DMCA in the future (distant future) to mimic SOPA, but if SOPA won't get out of the Senate because of a lack of votes, no way a law affecting US sites in the same way would get anywhere close.
