They why have 2 separate leaderboards smart@ss?
Here comes the smart answer D-ass, repeat, again. There are ppl enjoying the fresh start. And fresh means everything will be started from the scratch so therefore 2 separate leaderboards.
A gaps between 2 seasons and the merger of seasonal and ns players is to let seasonal players can reflect the progression they've made throughout the season, such as the improvement they've stacked on the long-term character and , the comparison between them and other long-term players. Seasonal now no longer offer special items or legendary gems, hence there is no reasons to hold ssl players from competing in the waiting period since we have no privileges and only the minority of seasonal base are able to get in leaderboard.
Wait, why the hell someone on Earth would think Seasonal is for competitives only =)))))))))))))))))))))
I play 1-2 hours per day, may be up to 4 on weekend, i'm not competitive and who the hell gonna stop me and so does thousand of ppl playing Seasonal just because we're enjoying the fresh start and the progress to perfect our items AGAIN LoL
as what you've said then everyone on Seasonal right now should all be at 2k paragons and that would be ALOT of ppl with no life lol
It's so funny that somehow ppl like you with paragons stashing from the beginning of the game, continuing scaling level and tonnes of items perfected over the years gonna be afraid those who slowly earn exp from the scratch and crappy items which only fit certain builds.
If you dont want your ass to be move on the leaderboard then the least you can do is to pick it up and push to maintain your record. Not all of seasonal players has insane paragons and those who have, they probably already have te same insane para on non-season and so, you would never be able to compete with them anw. Those who doesnt then they earn the place themselves cause wherever they play, they would determine get to that paragon anw .

Since you are a casual player, I suggest you to only read to top builds with explanation in words and a guild video if you aim to get one done ( In diablofans,choose tab Builds - click to choose a class - choose the latest patch - then click one of top period of time below ) because those are top builds that have been tested by pro players with details relating to the builds. Spend time to watch some of those to find your favourite.
If you have tons of small questions like what is LoN, what is Whimsyshire ... You always can ask them on Diablo chatbox - General channel. There are always a lot of nice people will give you a detail answers.
Personally, I think most of the fun is after 70 level when you can try out different combinations of skills, especially get real valuable loots and sets. But please, dont forget to finish the storyline in campaign mode, it's the core of the game as always
P/S: Ppl pls, not everyone have been there for 6 seasons or 10 hours per day to "feel or explore the game". That's the most absurd suggestion for new player to receive ever since they are clueless and dont have enough time to read endless information to understand the game and stuggling alone at T1 while everybody with crazy power flying around t10 and gr70+
Just tried out the wiz. Poor the class T_T miserably slow, weak and fragile. How can they make the wiz suffer so much like this to build a proper DPS build is extremely hard already comparing to zdps, not mention the augment thing will even slow the wiz down even more to get in a group. It's just not fair T_T
I don't quite understand the problem. LoN's 2 piece set bonus gives 100% extra damage for every ancient item equipped. I understand people want free damage buffs but wearing 4 piece Inna's and 2 piece SotE won't ever give you the max set bonus for either... It won't even give you a percent of the 6 bonus. It will however give you a 2 and 4 bonus. Just like LoN will buff your damage by 400% by only equipping 4 ancients.
His problem is that he thinks it is too easy to find a set item ( then can be rerolled by the cube ) comparing with finding an ancient item even though both set and Lon now provide roughly the same damage increase
However, considering the fact that LoN gives players the freedom to gain power with any item choice, therefore give us the freedom to choose relative skills and play style which we want, it's worth the price of an ancient item. The sets are equally powerful but also it comes with restriction on skills, conditions ... so players using them already have to pay the price for the power.
if Blizzard actually plays the game but have you tried to stay alive on grift 70+ while putting mouse over a moving mob to read the affix's they have on health bar?
Well, I have no problem doing that on GR80 and so as many other legit players. I have seen people using Turbo HUD and only find that its interface only annoys you more than helping.
I know botting is not a right thing to do, illegal to the game maybe but I don't see there is anything botting can annoy you this much :))

I think he is worried about the upcoming Armory. Then rest assure, builds/set's items saved in the Armory still take real place in our precious stash

So what about when there is GR going on and someone enter the game ? Will that increase the difficulty of the grift ?

Seasonal Option is disabled for now because Season 5 ended and we are in an odd period all playing in Non-season to wait and prepare for season 6.
