You're missing something. This isn't inferno. In Inferno difficulty all mobs will be balanced out for drops, prior to that it's going to slowly ramp up with later mobs giving you better loot. So for the Beta, absolutely, once you've got yourself up to max level, there's no reason to farm the early parts. Just like when you're level 60, but not quite geared for Inferno you'll go to Act IV Hell to get more items, not Act I Normal.
No I think your missing something, what hes trying to say is that the bosses drop better gear. Unless you can confirm that bosses in inferno drop no more gear than regular inferno mobs, than there is no reason why people won't stack mf and rush to inferno bosses.

Part of me is disgusted with this idea, but part of me really hopes that perhaps we'll teach a bunch of 15 year old boys how the world economy works and about supply and demand and market research, arbitrage, risk/reward, etc. without even having to try. The best lessons are those we learn when we don't know someone's trying to teach us something.
I also just noticed that the link to the Wiki shows screenshots of the various AH interfaces. It appears you can sell gold on the RMAH, but it also appears you can sell gold on the GAH, which makes no sense at all. Anyone have any thoughts on that from the screenshots?

I figure that the $40 I paid for D3 preorder will more than likely be covered whenever I decide to sell my characters, gold and items. I mean, it feels weird talking about this since it's legal. In WoW, I sold my accounts after I was done with each of them, mostly just to cover the cost of playing the game. Feels a lot better quitting when you're up like $30-$40 net after a year or two of playing.
My understanding was that you had to choose between e-balance or cash-out and that any account that opted for cash-out never maintained a balance after that opting.
The e-balance could be used on blizzard products and AH items, but could not be turned into cash as far as I am aware.

Knowing myself, my goal is to try and sell in-game gold on the RMAH, and use that as my main way to earn back my $60 :-) Even if its a silly goal, I think making the game pay for itself/getting to play for free is what a lot of people will be aiming to do.

Does this mean they have eliminated the ablity of characters to have a "basic attack"? I'm not exactly sure I understand how this works, say you're playing a Wizard and want to use the spell that magically enhances your weapon, either it means it does more spell damage, or that you can somehow swing your weapon. I've never seen a video or screenshot of any of the caster classes using their weapon, so I'm assuming at this point that they can't.
If other classes can't use melee weapons, does that mean that basically all melee weapons are solely for the barbarian? They have sure shown a lot of weapons at this point and it seems strange to think that they would go to that much effort for just the one class, but it kind of looks like weapons will be the unique item for each class, so maybe it makes sense.
The one thing I'm confused by is in one of the pictures it looked like the RMB had a link somehow to a second ability, I'm not sure what that means exactly and I'm hoping someone will have some insight on this. I'm assuming that Wizards and Witch Doctors will only cast spells and have no physical attacks, but if someone knows different, please let me know.

Are we actually going to be able to buy stuff from the blizzard store with the BlizzBux things or just digital copies of games and WoW time? If I can buy swag, I'm so there. Considering I doubt I'll ever make more than the price of a t-shirt, it sounds like a deal to me!
