I also hope they dont nerf inferno as much as tweak some character skills. If by the above posters stats, roughly 5% of people are in Inferno, thats about right imo. Inferno should be for the top 5% of all the players with everybody else working towards it if they desire. They just need to buff a some skills a bit so each class can better handle the difficulty. I will be severly disapointed if any nerfs to inferno allow any more than 5-6% of the playerbase to progress in it within a couple months of the patch.

This guy contributed nothing. He pretended to have the CE. Those screenshots are definitely from another site now. He never intended to upload anything.

Did you miss the screenshot of him holding the box and the diablofans and date piece of paper? He definitely has the CE.

toxic community?? You haven't been around here much have you? Don't let a few bad apples ruin the reputation of everyone on here.

well, to be fair, the community here has SUCKED the past couple of weeks. People are real bored and rather than going outside and enjoying the sunlight for a couple weeks before D3 comes out, people are just acting like idiots on the forum. Hopefully it will all calm down and go back to normal after release.

posted a message on The Current Least Popular Class?
I love the WD and its definitely going to be my first class played. The options the WD has for skills is just enormous. TONS of CC, direct dmg spells, aoe, pets, and cool as hell character sets make him tops for me as well. I can see how they would be lower on polls simply because its a different type of class and the diablo class that its replacing (necro) was really popular and WD is definitely different. I honestly think if they make sure there are no broken mechanics like teleport from d2, then Barb will always stay #1, but the other 4 will be roughly even. There wont be an assasin like bad class in D3 the way things stand. They have really done an amazing job balancing these classes out, IMO

posted a message on Best MF Character
well, gold itself is going to be extremely valuable so that has a certain importance as well. I agree tho that with every class being based off core stats and wpn dmg, they should all be extremely balanced and all equally dependent on the gear they wear. I dont really see any class any better than any other.

The 2 reasons that Sorcs were so much better in D2 were because of static field which doesnt exist in D3 for any class and Teleport which given a few reasons (Higher Difficulty, more loot coming from champ packs rather than bosses, higher CD/energy cost, etc), it will not be a make or break skill in D3 like it was in D2. It was 100% broken in D2 and there is no way Blizz lets that happen again. So basically the best MF char is whichever class you enjoy the most.

    Quote from Maerlimi

What about "target misleading"? I wonder how things like WD pets and Wizard Images will work, if they have some kind of diminished effect on harder difficulties, if they work 100% or if they don't work at all. Because if they work...they are seriously overpowered. Every second a mob or a boss is hitting a pet/image is a second of "immunity" for your group.
Just imagine if bosses are actually fooled by them. Two wizards, 4 (or 10!) images, suddenly your group doubled. In a group with 4 targets, you have a 25% chance of getting the boss attention. In a group with 8: 12,5%. In a group with 14 (runed mirror image): 7,1%.
Add wd pets, monk mystic ally, etc etc. It's a lot of damage being completely avoided.

Well, the fights are going to be a lot longer in Inferno, and eventually pets like the WD will likely die just like the duration of the other helpers will despawn. You also have to keep in mind that WD and Wizards in particular have to avoid dmg or they will die. If their ways of avoiding dmg did not work, then they would not have a chance. "Target Misleading" needs to work and people will likely have to use them to have any chance of surviving early on.

posted a message on So uh... there's already a D3 bot released...
I am personally hopeful that Hell and Inferno are so hard that Bots are rendered useless myself. If they are as hard as they are advertised to be, I cant imagine Bots surviving. It sounds like even with good gear, you wont be able to be reckless or stupid or else you will die. So, I guess I am remaining optimistic that the higher lvls will just be too hard for bots.

posted a message on PvP should get more love
    Quote from kolz4ever

Let's get real for a moment. Diablo has never been about pvp, it's always been about dungeon crawling and fighting hordes of enemies. You want pvp then go play shit of legends, wrath of heroes, and tons and tons of countles pvp soley f2p games instead of paying 65 dollars for pvp.
    Quote from ecutruin

    Quote from SePOne

Diablo hasn't been about pvp for you, but not only carebears like you play this game.

Way to use insults to prove a point. Oh wait...

Sorry, you're very wrong. A vast majority of players did play the game purely to smash monsters. In both D1 & D2 the PvP was an afterthought, tacked on to let people goof off fighting. It did become decently popular in some circles, however, generally those matches consisted of one person going out of town hostile and killing everyone else that came out. It basically creates a situation where unless you were a dick, you generally didn't like the PvP (there was exceptions, of course). Blizzard seeks to change that.

By integrating PvP via an Arena system with matchmaking, Blizzard has made PvP appeal to a wider audience then it appealed to before. In addition to this, by not having hostility they have improved the PvM experience as well. This isn't about taking away PvP or not giving it enough love. Blizzard is giving PvP more love then it EVER got in the previous games, its just not being designed around bullies that want to those less skilled as an ego boost. That is a positive thing, not a negative one.

These. I am giving some credit to the same old people beating the dead horse that is this PvP debate. They either have no lives and just like to argue or they are holding fast in what they believe in and standing strong.

The PvP debate is really moot until we know what they come up with since its obviously not coming with release. Fact is, Ecutrin is right, PvP is getting way more attention than either of the last two games combined. Hostility was a broken mechanic was one used more for griefing than anything constructive so I am glad that was removed.

Dueling absolutely should be in the game, and I am sure it will be put in the arena. Simply would make no sense for them not to put it in, and I am sure it will be there.

Multiple polls have been done to show the vast majority of players that play Diablo are PvM centered. The PvP crowd is obviously vocal and passionate about it and I think everybody just needs to relax until they release what their system will be. If it was going to be as simple as 4v4 matches and thats it, does anybody actually think it wouldnt have been put in release? The fact they are delaying it a couple months only speaks as a positive for what they plan to do with it.

posted a message on After Open Beta: List The Classes
    1. WD-I have always liked necro/warlocky type classes with different types of magic and pets. Lots of CC and variance in spells
    2. Barb- Barb is awesome. If my group needed a barb instead of a WD, it would have been close. Barbs are awesome.
    3. Monk- Very fun, versatile, and fast playstyle. Big Fan

    4. Wizard- Never been a huge fan of the "normal" caster type, played a moonkin and warlock in wow. Its blah. Most people playing them are only playing them because of huge epeens and the large numbers that usually come with this type of class. Glad its not really a glass cannon right now honestly.
    5. DH-Never been a fan of hunter type classes

posted a message on PvP should get more love
There will be dueling in arenas, I have no doubt about it. Its a simple thing to add and no reason not to do it. There will never be a hostile feature for all the reasons that have been mentioned. People need to disregard Adon, he is pretty much either trolling or ignorant in all of his posts. He knows that the vast majority of people here view D3 as a PvM game with side PvP but he just likes to stir things up.

posted a message on Why is blizzard making D3 like WoW?
    Quote from Logic

D3 is all about collecting gear. Why would you collect gear if you can`t use it for anything else except for collecting more gear? If the game lacks PvP then most people will get bored quickly and just move to the next game. If blizzard says that it won`t be a balanced PvP environment then everybody has to accept it and play it like it is BUT that does not mean they can remove PvP completely and expect people to play more than the story mode few times.

I think the game needs at least 1v1 and open area free PvP. What do you guys think?

I think we need to wait and see what the pvp system includes before creating the 100x troll thread about it. We do NOT know what the arena is going to include. I am sure there will be 1v1 duels.
