The law of this site is not to take arms against fellow members. To throw insults around breaks that rule I would assume. Keep the peace, our true enemies are Diablo, Baal, Mephisto, their minions, and whoever tries to stop us from playing the games.
You ever see the one where the parents are being tormented to purchase a time share in exchange for a weekend at a ski lodge, but they keep them in a seminar room the whole time, and when they finally think they are going skiing the ski lift dumps them back into a secret window and they are in the seminar room again? And Stan is forced to race this gay retard that keeps calling him Stan Darsh and they keep doing parodies of bad teen movies and stuff. I think that one was one of my favs too.
Thanks for your input everybody. About negotiating with my dad, that is not going to happen. My dad cannot be reasoned with on such matters. It's more a matter of finding a good hiding place. Any plans on where I should hide it?
I have to deal with a father that will not allow me to own the diablo games. If he finds out I buy them anyway, he destroys them. I care about my father too much to sue him for the money I lost when he destroyed the D2 disk. I really like those games but don't have the kind of money for them to be thrown out after a month of owning them. Any thoughts?
My Diablo lore is probably less than everyone else's since I don't own any of the games besides the Playstation 1 version of the first one. My dad destroyed the Diablo 2 disk and threw out the book and I broke the PC Diablo 1 disk by accident. I think I will have to buy the full package for 30 bucks and find a better way of hiding it. All this can explain why I might have some difficulty formulating a plot line for Diablo 3. But the fact still remains that I am huge fan and hope to own the whole collection sooner than later.:rolleyes:
I just think if they decide to use the idea of choose your side: good or evil, the sin war seems something they can work with. It reminds me of some biblical accounts of how God and the devil would toy with mortals to see which side they would choose (ex Job). The prime evils could be doing just that just cause getting more followers is a spit in the face for heaven. They could handle heaven without the help of mortals, since mortals are weaker than demons, but they would turn mortals to their cause to show heaven how weak their hold on Sanctuary really is.
I want them to release the diablo trilogy for the ps3, they can fit a lot more info on it and alter it so you can play as any of the classes throughout. Also, if it is for the ps3, I can get away with having it.
I am as excited as the rest of you, but the only way I can play it is if I either move out or find a good hiding spot. My dad is a bible-banger and would likely destroy the disk like he did to diablo 2, if he ever found it. I think I'll put it in the old EQ box or maybe in random ps2 cases and then put the ps2 games in normal cases. It's so retarded I have to do that but if you knew him you'd understand.
I hope one day to get a new copy of D2. My dad's a crazy christian and broke my disk.:( I never got to get past Lut Golein, if that's how you spell it.:confused:
Well I find great interest in that. My idea is to have D3 be a prequel that dates at the time of the sin war, allowing you to be either good or evil and have some classes that are restricted to just good (paladin) or just evil (diabloist, a demon conjurer)
I am sick and tired of multiplayer online rpgs that restrict gameplay to just online. If the next diablo game is that I will be ticked off. :mad: I do not like monthly payments. However, I suppose if it was like the others but without a monthly fee, I wouldn't mind so much, but I think they should also have an offline version that comes with the game that is more like the other diablos.:D
