person B repeats what person A does and puts it for $4.70
Blizzard wins another 5 cents
Imagine if they were person C, D, E and so on doing this to. If I get a nickle for every item posted in auction, I'd be a zillionaire chewing on some T-rex drumsticks and chugging down a pitcher of holy water on my throne.

Here's how it works, and I've confirmed this with Bashiok a looong time ago (I think like a year ago):
No matter who kills the mob, your magic find is what counts for the items that drop on the ground for you. So for example, if you have 100% magic find, and your friend has x% magic find, it doesn't matter who kills the mob, loot will drop on the ground and it will be at 100% MF. It's that simple.
So, theoretically you could jump in a game with the max magic find gear, do no damage whatosever, and collect fat loot.

Aug 21, 2011Player 1 has 100% magic find. Player 2 has 0% magic find. First mob drops for Player 1 but Player 2 kills it. Player 2's magic find is calculated to the kill but since he has 0% magic find, Player 1 receives a normal item. 2nd mob drops for Player 2 but Player 1 kills it. Player 1's 100% magic find is calculated to the kill and a rare item drops but Player 1 cannot loot it or see it. Player 2 loots it & wins the game.....So my question would be, is the loot round-robin or who gets the kill?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Best End-Game DPS in order from left to right - Monk, Demon Hunter, Wizard, Barbarian, Witch Doctor

Aug 21, 2011Easy question, when a new expansion comes out. Blizz raises the monster level cap higher like 5603495 times our level cap. Who says they are not creative like the RMAH for example. They will probably start adding in gear for the pvp system in the future for all the pvpers and make diablo pregnant to the pvers.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

1. Decreased the damage reduced by threatening shout but increases the AOE range
2. Increased the damage reduced by threatening shout but lowers the AOE range
3. Causes AOE fear on nearby enemies instead of reducing damage
4. Causes AOE stun on nearby enemies instead of reducing damage
5. Lowers the cool down on Threatening Shout
6. Also adds Fury when used
7. Reduces Fury cost when used (If Fury is required to use this, if not ignore this)
Aug 18, 2011Wrath of Berserker - raises several stats while breaking damage immunities? <--- I'm wondering if this breaks damage absorbing skills like the Wizard's Diamond Skin or the Monk's skill Serenity?? If so this will always be my 1st choice for PVP.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Relentless - When the Barbarian is under 20% HP, skills do not cost any fury and damage (taken or dealt?) is reduced by 50%.
Superstition - Reduces non-physical damage taken by 10%.
Insane Courage - When the Barbarian has under 35% HP, damage taken is reduced by 30%.
If "Relentless" description gets re-analyzed & is actually reduced damage taken by 50% then that's 90% reduced damage from non-physical damage while 80% reduced damage from physical when lower than 20% HP. Just stack Life-Stealing on your equipment and your set.
The Unstoppable Juggernaunt, I think so! I smell a nerf coming soon....

PVE - Damage is based on how many toilets you have in your house. No other formula or stat increases this skill. *I have 2 toilets, yay = 2 damage total out of 7 hits. End game skill for "Inferno" difficulty no doubt.
