IMO just buff str and dex will solve alot of problem and still maintain the diversity, but blizzard is removing it.
You boost str and dex and instead of having all classes with insane amounts of HP you get classes with insane amounts of damage one shotting monsters and players a like with just enough HP to escape.
It's known as glass cannon builds, and they are abused when at all possible. -

I think at the Lore Panel, don't quote me though, which will be in an hour and 15 mins. -

It is just that in my native language the word "item" is the same, but the plural is "itens". I try to avoid confusing the languages spelling, but sometimes it pass unnoticed.
You speak Portugese?
Anyway, stats got incredibly boring, it had the potential to be fun, but I never ran into a build that worked well without "enough strength to wear items, and the rest into vit" That's basically the build for ever class. -

STR: the extra damage you gain is horrible, you just have to put enought for your gear
ENE: it was useless in most PVM cases, even for a sorceress.
If blizzard had made better atribute effects we could see a lot of diferent stat builds in D2.
If they made Str more effective though just imagine, a barbarian with a little into dex, little into vit, rest into STR. Glass cannon PvP build.
They could take out almost anyone in 1-2 hits probably. -

The damage probably scales with level I'd assume. -

WTF are the other stats there for if the only attribute that should be boosted indefinitely is vitality? That is completely wrong! I want the strongest barbarian that was ever done!
That's the major quarrel I had with the old system. Sure you could assign stats where ever you liked but if you wanted to be a solid player you pretty much had to spend at least 50% insto vit. -
Oct 10, 2008Daemaro posted a message on Character Stat AssigningWon't you still be able to customize stats and gameplay through equipment, skill runes, and talents?Posted in: News
I think the auto skill allocation was coming for a long time. -

The Wizard gameplay is awesome.
Looks like it IS King Leoric, and I think that might of been the Butcher at 5:40.
Just leave it there til it loads then hit play. -

Playable demo and new class, awesome news, can't wait to hear more.
Tristram Cathedral and the Skeleton King? Awesome!
I'm thinking the new class will be the ranged archtype. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Probably one of the funniest things I have read in a while.

You can't possibly find logic in the actions of someone who is acting completely illogical at the time. It's just a senseless act of violence and I don't think it points towards anything necessarily.

I believe everyone initially has the right to own some form of gun. I don't think automatics and semi automatics are necessary, maybe require special permits for that, but I think it's in best interest of the people to be able to defend themselves if needed.
Now those rights start to change when people are convicted of crimes. Anyone who has been arrested and convicted of a violent crime should have less rights to own a gun. People who have been proven medically to be a danger to others should have less rights. There are a lot of things that I would agree should probably limit the right to own a gun but I really don't think more gun laws than we have currently are going to make things any more safe.
That guy had planned to kill those people, if he didn't have easy access to guns do you think that would have stopped him? You can find out how to make a bomb on google. Were the guns even registered to him? Nothing is going to stop bad people from doing bad things. The only thing it's going to do is put good people through situations where even their own bodies aren't private. I don't think people should just be conditioned to accept that.

People need to just calm down. Terrorism rarely happens, domestic terrorism even less. Put as many measures as you want in place to make things "secure" all you're doing is alienating actual decent citizens. Do you think if I terrorist is standing in line he's going to go through the machine or a pat down? No. He's either going to leave, or blow up right there.
Same goes for guns, knives, whatever. How many people are actually caught trying to commit a terrorist act? Well there was the shoe bomber and the underwear bomber and both of them already had made it onto the plane anyways. I'd rather not have my junk groped and prodded needlessly and I don't want to go through one of those new cancer machines they have set up either.
And yes terrorism is such a tiny threat in comparison to how many people die do to drug related violence at the borders and in inner cities.

This is sad though.
Making more gun laws isn't going to help because obviously criminals don't obey the law.

Honestly though I'd rather have the regular ole two boob combo. Where would I rest my head with three? I'd just have to lay right on top of a boob which would probably be uncomfortable.
You can't motorboat to it's full potential either, there would be one lonely side of cleavage.

Oh come on... you set this up.... top?

Damnit guys this was supposed to be about Jesus doing awesome things like riding a harley over a pit of sharks with a bandolier, super ripped abs, an american flag bandana, some sunglasses, smoking a cigar and firing off two assault rifles into the air while an eagle soars majestically in the background, not serious talk about how laughable religion is.

Yeah Jay Wilson specifically commented around release that it was okay to use in it's current state. So as long as they didn't change it to do something shifty then it should be fine.

The faster they implement the MF changes the better so we can all get used to it and it can settle in.
