Haven't played D3 since launch on PC, I now play on the PS4, as I don't do much PC gaming anymore.
So I want to do a 6 piece Wrath of the wastes set, with 2 piece Immortal Kings for CoTA being up permanently.
This is obviously for patch 2.4 and thus I have TONS of questions:
1.) Are set bonuses worth more than stat sheet DPS? All my set pieces have red arrows pointing down for the damage portion of those items... Is the 2500% damage dust devils worth it for Whirlwind?
2.) What's the best way to get me an ancient Immortal King Boulder Breaker? Gambling? Upgrading rare maces? I need this piece badly... I'm guessing it's gotta be an ancient one for my dps to be worthwhile, since my current weapon is a 2h sword (the red one, forget the name) that has 4k dps, 1100+ strength, vitality, and it's got a NICE socket. A friend gave it to me, does the IK boulder breaker come with a socket?
3.) Tried using the cube to turn some of my IK pieces into the belt, as the rest of my barb will be using Wrath of the wastes gear for armor, couldn't get it to roll the belt... Is there a trick to this?
4.) Is this build even viable? I want to use it until I get all of the pieces needed for the 2.4 Furious Charge/wrath of the berzerker/ Call of the ancients build.
5.) best way to get gear?
6.) Are bounties worth doing?
7.) Anyone have a good build for this using Furious charge, whirlwind, and CoTA with Wrath of the Berserker?
