we have verified that it is due to an over-aggressive easilylist on ABP. We will try to contact someone to get them to update it, until then, you can paste the following into custom filters (click "edit filter as raw text to paste in). Should allow you to keep adblock on, and still use the editor

im not sure why ABP would all of a sudden be blocking WYSIWYG editor... will look into this. It could be that someone put an aggressive rule in the easylist, if that is the case, someone would need to contact ABP about it, but we are checking on our end first.

posted a message on Patch 2.4.2 Datamine, Scrapped systems :(
    Quote from BlinkHawk >>

omg.... The Hype train crashed :(

Actually, I found something by comparing old and new builds.

    between Patch 2.4.0 -> Patch 2.4.2, 3 new "X2" files slipped in:

    • X2_Barbarian_Earthquake_DOT.efg
    • X2_Barbarian_Earthquake_DOT_Empty.efg
    • X2_Wizard_EnergyTwisterDOT.efg

All of the Reaper of Souls files are marked with X1. X2 files imply a second expansion. Now we don't know if a second expansion is in the works, has been scrapped or Blizzard is fooling with dataminers (They seem to be very careful on letting things slip out).

Among other interesting things: They've made over 4k builds from patch 2.4 to patch 2.4.2. It's quite a lot of builds, big projects like the famous Dolphin emulator have had around 8k in 10 years lifetime. D3 has had over 10k builds since 2.2. They are definitely doing something to the engine.

My going theory is they had plans for another expansion, and cancled it. Which resulted in the feautres we got each season, like the new zone. Most of the assets in that zone were X2 assets. Almost every patch post 2.2 has had x2 items in it (I thin 2.1 as well maybe)

as that seems like a lot of assets just for a patch if they were not alreayd being worked on for an expantion that never was

posted a message on Patch 2.4.2 Datamine, Scrapped systems :(

Hey I jsut wanted to come in, and say some of this information is a little old, out of context. For example "Platinum" is very old (patch 2.2 at start of 2015), and are used for the Asian markets, which have a free to play model of D3.

Those changes are not designed for the US version at this time.

Also Devils hand is also confirmed to be scrapped system, which we got confirmation form blizzard after we datamined it a while ago. (two blizzcons ago) This also includes the zones you linked

    http://www.diablofans.com/news/48343-ptr-patch-2-2-datamined

most of the things can be found in 2.2  (some of those UI elements, like the runes, is back from 2012)

The "new villian" is actually just the icon for the road to alcarnus quest   http://www.diablowiki.net/The_Road_to_Alcarnus

I went ahead and verified most things in this thread have  been posted in our previous dataming over the years, and thus is misleading that it hints at a new expansion. But instead, just scrapped systems.

At the same time, im not saying that they are not working on something, just that the following datamined items, do not really give credit one way or the other to that.

With that said I dont want to shoot you down from digging more! (You found a lot of stuff back in heroes, I remember you :)  )  However, I would recommend checking patch to patch dataming, instead of D3 as a whole.  (Eg Patch 2.4.1-> 2.4.2) so old things dont surface.

posted a message on Cannot select items? (Create Build)

This is not good by any means. We push a patch that had some user requested features (such as tagging builds for group or solo! yay!) however this looks like it might have cause some issues. we might revert back a patch soon

    Hey Timoseewho.

so the build "edit" page is still not designed for mobile. However it should def  not be resetting things. Will have someone look into this.

When I view Dfans on my S6 in desktop mode, the recent thread and tracker section don't show, instead there's a huge red box that sits over top of them.

This has been fixed. Thanks for the report :)

I like the update, it seems I'll actually be able to make a build with my phone. Everything is working on my Android except the ITEMS section in edit mode. It DOES show up while viewing. Also the kanais cube section is overlapping. Using chrome on a HTC desire 320w

When you say the cube overlaps,. are you referring on the guide page itself, or the edit page.  The edit page has not been made responsive, and still needs to be done on desktop for good results.

It looks like we have a possible solution, However we wont be able to deploy it till monday.

I also sadly can not give you a link to switch to desktop mode. I thought i could just tie w/e JS function we call to a link for you, but it looks like it was tied to a jquery event onclick and this i cant move it to a link.

Using Chrome on your iphone should allow you to switch to desktop mode. I know thats not ideal for your solution, but we will make sure to try to get something out for you on monday.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the update! Well try to track this down as soon as possible. it looks like in your case it might be releated to the lower version.

Im looking into a way I can get you a link to click without the nav that will take you to desktop so you can use the site on your phone in the mean time. Ill post back here if I get anything for you.
