There are a few new entries in the I'm banned thread on a forum for botters.
Have Blizzard given us a ban wave for Xmas?
It's really great to see top clans take an anti-botting stance. Clans can be quite effective at suppressing botting within their ranks.
Also this sort of community action keeps Blizzard's attention on the problem and encourages them to allocate more time and resources to their ban-wave process.
Not true there were four important pieces of news:
I have never used Turbohud myself but I am an avid consumer of builds, guides etc created by people using it's damage meter..
Trialling new builds checking proc rates etc will be much harder without it. Even as a non user I hsve always felt it was a benign addition to the game.
Thanks for the awesome guide, did it solo with the helltooth chicken build in18 mins on 2nd attempt despite long loading screen times.
I rearanged the list to do all of an Act which seemed to help.
Looks like Kanai's Skorn may not be available in April just started a s6 toon on ptr and there was no chest / Skorn in the immortal throne room.
Looking at the front page of the rb site drops are down about 25% compared to yesterday, from what I recall yesterday at this time there were 1 790 000 Legendarys and 450 000 set items found in the previous 24 hours today it is 1 248 000 and 335 000.
So there are still plenty of active bots, at least Season 5 leaderboards EU & NA have been cleaned up
I agree with #2 (as we all do), but for #1 & #3... seriously? You're a guy who hides his username in videos sometimes and also if someone spends 2 min on your channel will see you are using multiple accounts. One of them shows a paragon 1600+ and you openly declared not so much time ago that the use of THud should be considered legit and that you are actually using it. Not to mention people that have that kind of signature "begging" for a donation, should stop complaining about D3 and start being grateful they're earning money from a $20 game.
P.S. Zero items drop? Are we playing the same game? You can race for paragon and still pick up items.
Wow really nasty personal attack that does not contribute to the conversation is this part of your application to be a mod on these forums?
The top softcore players are now doing no RG 105+ grifts for XP so no loot.
I am a casual player who has played 1-2 hours per day since launch.
I have been in the bottom of the leaderboards in seasons 1-3, do I care that others are botting?
1. Bots in public games, go and run a few dozen pub bounties there is a particularly annoying type of bot that jumps around at random but does not complete any bounties.
2. Drop of numbers in communities looking to do bounties, keys, rifts.
3. People leaving the game because they can't keep up with the botters
4. Artificially elevated entry level for end game grifts, speed 72's anyone?
5. Lack of interest in striving to reach end game / compete.
6. Divided communities
7. Tarnished competition, on the leaderboard? Most people will think you're botting. New players won't pick up game because it is full of cheaters..
8. Less end game geared players doing rifts, bounties etc with mid / low tier players
Frankly, there is a stark difference between a good and bad zdps and it is very noticeable. The other problem you will run in to is lack of paragon. A good twister wiz is not going to waste their time with bad low paragon zdps. It wont be efficient for them and the group revolves around their potential. If you are looking to farm paragon you are behind the curve for the current season. Most clans wont even look at you unless you have 1k paragon today and that will go up to 1.1k by next week and continue to go up throughout the season.
I do not want to be discouraging to you but the reality is even good zdps with proper augments and leveled gems have a hard time finding a stable twist wiz.
Just going to jump in here and say that I *think* he is asking about a completely different level of play than you are referring to. Your idea of "most clans" is incredibly skewed towards people who are playing the game in typical tryhard fashion. Most clans, in actuality, are full of lots of people of MUCH lower paragon than you are implying.
You could be absolutely right considering the lack of information in the original post of intention. My view is in fact based on GR90+ groups. I would not personally feel compelled to play a support roll in such a group unless I was committing to the grind required of top 50 players. Mid to low range GRs can be done without zdps very easily so I assume anyone asking about zdps advice is in regard to high end GR progression.
Currently only p600 in season with a sader so will probably need to roll / gear new toon which will take me a week.....
What is the easiest zdps class to play for speed rifts in Season 5?
I'm a below average skilled casual looking to get into some speed rifts so whichever role is the easiest / least critical would be best.
Thanks in advance for suggestions
