I'll second the notion to just farm T4 at breakneck speed vs any other option really. T5 is okay, and T6 is just a brutal slog of 1shots until they fix dex in 2.1
Laughing at T4-5 in solo or party, double mark + wolf + harry = elite packs in <3 seconds, and my gear is shit. 80-100m crits via Calamity too stronk.
Solo T6 I just run Mara's, because I hate paying attention. Also because I lack double Unity, and thus can't play recklessly. It's funny though; I have Calamity, Trifecta Taskers, two Krider's, two sets of Mara's, Shadows, and Nats, yet I haven't found a single dex Unity
13 mil toughness and still 1 shot but almost anything in T6. Fix dex classes pls.
Shut
the
fcuk
up you softcore playing M***********.
I cringe everytime i see softcore players calling things for "easy" and "np" and "no challenge". When u find T6 HC "easy" get back to me.
^ This guy is doing "ok" in T5 atm. That Nat slayer is 2804.7 ingame, dunno why its lower there.
lol who shit in this kids wheeties?
Anyway, T6 farm isn't really doable on dex classes, at least not reliably quickly like WD or Crusader. Things are probably much smoother with double Unity cheese, but that's RNGesus for you. On the flip side of that coin, a properly geared DH probably clears faster than anything on "lower" Torments (<T5), as we can literally one shot anything that isn't a RG or Act Boss. Things get even more ridiculous for T1 and below with the Danetta's set and a proper physical spec. Permanent 300+% movespeed is just absurd for split farming, considering your movement ability also happens to insta-gib everything within 20 yards.
I'm glad this is catching on, because Shock Pulse - Piercing Orb is absolutely bonkers with a Shard of Hate, Odyn Son, or TF equipped. So good, in fact, that you don't even need a spender. The build works very well with either maxed out CDR or Tal's (sadly you can't have both) in T4+
I am a firm believer that Odyn is BiS though, as it's the best proc for single target DPS in game, which is the builds only weak spot. If you play with Arcane Orb, you have some of the best stacking AOE/trashclear dps in game, and Odyn melts packs/RG's with ease. That said, Shard of Hate has a ludicrous proc rate with Shock Pulse, and is hands down the best clearing weapon available to the spec. Honestly it might even be bugged, because it reminds me of how often the proc would trigger alongside WW back when it was glitching.
Also, in party play, swapping Blur for Paralysis is bonkers for utility/survivability. Alongside Exposure, and to a lesser extent Slow Time, you actually bring a lot to the table in groups other then just raw DPS.
It's kind of sad how long it's taking people to notice when there have been plenty of threads discussing builds that were dismissed as useless because they weren't stomping T6. With the added Archon rune it probably is now. But yes, SoH has been good with lightning for a long time (it was even better before they fixed the weapon because you weren't stuck with crappy Shock Pulse.) I don't think it's bugged though; Shock Pulse (no rune) has a 1.0 proc rate and the wave rune .9 or so, and SoH procs at exactly that rate (I've noticed a lot of legendaries are less even with a 1.0 proc.) Also SoH works with your elemental damage and I'm not sure if other weapons do?
What is max CDR? Because I'm at 49% and while I don't have them yet, nothing would stop me putting in any or all of the Tal's pieces right now.
Also, OP, not saying this to criticise but to help: set boni is not a thing. It's set bonuses.
My clan mate has been running Tals/Vyrs Lite since the patch to great effect with less focus on CDR because we're almost always grouped. As for max CDR, it's pretty much impossible to obtain without severely cutting into your other slots. I know GiG is running around 72%, which I believe is the max possible without a shrine, and he still has a few seconds between Archon cooldowns.

I've been following Philo's stream and basically what was discovered is that once you get 6pc, you can just put abilities on your bar, and things die. Fire worked just as well as physical (running Cindercoat over Tasker) with CA and MS. The Sentry choice also seemed to matter very little, as the spender damage drastically outweighs the standard turret damage, so running Guardian Turret seemed like the right call.
As for the bow, Chanon Bolter by far is the best, closely followed by Hellrack. The taunt is on Chanon is reaally really valuable, but as it is one of those 1% drop bows, most of us will have to settle for the latter. I'm not sure Krider is even worth it tbh, as your sentries will start spamming the subpar EA.
As for passives, anything goes really. I'm a fan of Awareness + Perfectionist + Steady Aim + TA (or CE if you don't have the quiver yet), but that's because I hate dying lol.
Diablo 2 ladders worked because we could trade, thus no one was excluded from loot permanently.
If they drop this god-forsaken BOA system, there would be literally no downside to playing non-ladder other then a delay in which you could get the new loot.
T6 Hellrifting is arguably the 'new COTA'. XP/hour ranges from 1.5 billion on the low end (solo) to probably around 5 billion (geared, organized group).
In this video I explain the build and gear options for a Meteor Fire Wizard to solo clear Torment 6 Hellrifts efficiently. The Smoldering Core staff with its 100% taunt on non-elite monsters is the perfect weapon for this style of XP farming. I also talk about some caveats specific to Hellrifting, how to get to level 2, what doesn't affect the XP, and when to bail.
From my experience (Wiz ~1500 world Elemental Elite dps, 800 Europe) this run is not worth it if you have a t6 group.
If you can focus on rifts and your group is able to clear a T6 rift in under ~5-7 min it is way better to just farm rifts. Not only you will get way more legendaries which equals to more possible upgrades for your character, more gems and the overall exp/h is very close (though bourns set + red gem in helm + other stuff like leorics ring/cain's set help a LOT!). Moreover, this run gets very boring after 10+ try in a row because you are repeating the same content over and over again.
Gold wise however, this place is a sweet spot, especially for characters who need gold (combining gems costs a lot at first).
I dont see how cain, red gem in hat or leoric helps at all in T6 xp farming!!! U seem to be a high tier player o correct me if im wrong but u get 1600% xp from T6 & cain set is not multiplicative nor is head gem so cain will bring u to 1650% wtf. At least is this what the sheet says.
It's more of the fact that the mobs themselves are barely worth anything, which is all that Cain's/Leo's/Born's/HFR/Ruby would boost. The main XP/hr is coming from the 81 million you get from completing the bounty
This is something you do when your rift group isn't online, and you want to farm some XP solo with your eyes closed.
Vita -> 7% Attack speed (until patch 2.0.5, then roll for 10% damage).
Unless it's already got black damage, then shoot for the % damage asap. Here's mine for reference:
Also, 2set bonus makes vault infinite, which is fantastic for speed clearing bounties and low torment content. Run the Action Shot rune on Vault to proc Night Stalker, which fills your discipline, and Prep/Punish to convert that into more hatred.
That said, Nats's + Calamity is still best in slot for later content.

Absolutely ridiculous amounts of gold and Xp, along with a pretty good laugh. If you get this rift, make sure to clear all 10 levels!
