posted a message on "Why Diablo 3 is Broken"
Xfire as source is a sad panda, but it shows a trend. Keep in mind Diablo is a series where people quit then pick it back up later on at some point, this isn't a MMO that requires 100% up-time of players. Learn the genre you’re trying to compare to.

Game has issues and currently no endgame, yes it’s agreed can anybody else bitch or give constructive criticism on something else for once?

Item grind is currently endgame.... well that's a piss poor endgame and if D2 didn't have ladder, PvP and that other entire stuff people would have said the same damn thing. This game needs some patches and more content, but remember D2 wasn't so great on release either.

I find it funny people think D2 was full of I can find whatever I want so easy. Did any of you actually find a Zod rune ever? How about Tyreal's might, or the IK soul cage... I could go on and on but there is no point.

Ahhh the good old AH debate... let’s go back to D2 shall we. Did any of you trade ever? If so then you are using a form of the AH the only difference now is it's much easier to obtain new items through inflated currency. Not everyone used 3rd party sites but now it’s a common practice. Your choice to use it or not should not be a factor for QQ

Too add to the AH "woes" every person who complains they can't find an upgrade bought a bunch of gear from the AH... WTH do you expect. Say you traded a bunch of your duped Soj's, +skill charms, and runes for an amazing assassin set. You then try to grind for items but yet you don't find any upgrades... hmm wonder why.

TL:DR QQ derp derp derp derp derp

posted a message on WD: do you think we will be dissapointed with 1.0.4?
    Quote from Khrull777

@Ruppgu I agree that the other classes got big perks to encourage a variety of class builds, but the WD only got fixes that should have been there in the first place. Blizzard did take your suggestion to fix the mana problem on the WD. You complained that every other class does not cost resources to use their primary attack (i.e. Splinters) and in most cases it actually increases their resources to use your primary attack. The WD is the only class that loses mana/resource when using the primary. The fix is kind of funny though... You HAVE to use one of your valuable Passives in order to gain resources with primary attacks. In essence, to be equal with other classes, you have to give up one of three passives. That is hardly an equal playing field. All of the other classes got a boost to DPS and the WD lost a passive slot. Wow!

On the positive side, the pet situation may be fixed and that is huge. But that is not a boost like the other classes got, that is a fix.

+1 but they didn't talk about any other abilities in general so more to come I'm sure. If all the Dots for the other classes get a boost so should ours and that will help.

exactly a OVERVIEW - so i atleast expect ONE sentence like "oh an we change some of the underpowered might, defensive, taticts and rage abilities too"
is one sentence to much to ask?

I suppose your right but considering the backlash Blizzard receives I'm not surprised they didn't put any brief sentences in. If we received a blog that comprised of 4 lines of every change for the Barb with no reasoning or details I'm quite sure there would be a lot of WTF. It would be nice to see a "book" of line by line every single detail the have worked but that's asking a bit much. You could also be right and they are only focusing on offensive abilities. Maybe defensive abilities will be in 1.0.5. Overall I'm happy with at least knowing that I can use a fury spender, use a different fury generator and have worthwhile legendary items. This will keep me very happy till 1.0.4. and there are still many announcements to be made.

TL:DR job well done Blizzard I'm excited for the new patch.

posted a message on What about our old legendaries?
    Quote from skritsarn

What im trying to say is that i dont want my legendaries that im using right now to loose alot of worth, and therefore i feel the need to sell them before the patch hits, rather than selling them later and getting nothing for them. And i didnt say im forced to.. Only if i dont want to loose gold.

I see what you’re getting at but let’s just say patch 1.0.4 doesn't come out for another year. Your items will lose value over time because more items just as powerful will be available on the market. You are essentially trying to rent your items. Be happy if you still get decent money on them considering you’re still that much more powerful to obtain more gold and items compared to what you were before your purchases. The old items will have some value because they are still “okay” you just won’t get a premium on them compared to an okay rolled rare.

Feels kind of like a pain in the ass to be forced to sell your old stuff before the patch hits, if you dont wanna loose alot of gold. What do you think?

You are not forced to sell anything... are you sitting on a stockpile of legendaries and simply haven't bothered to sell them? Have you had trouble selling your legendaries and simply have ran out of time since you tried selling them for too much? Do you plan on selling all your gear and trying to buy the new stuff immediately when it's available. I'm not sure what your getting at.

posted a message on Legendaries so awesome, but still sad face :(
    Quote from BigEd781

Bottom line; now that they look to be pretty awesome, their relative scarcity is 100% justified. I don't want to find a legendary every 2 hours. I want to find one once in a great while and get super excited because I know I just found something that is special and that I can use.

*That* is what makes them fun. If they are relatively common then they lose their appeal.

Just the idea of when I see that bronze colour (I think it's bronze I'm slightly colour blind) I will actually get excited now. That is all I could ask for.

posted a message on Diablo 3 is a very good game
    Quote from vividscum

Am I the only one here, who thinks Diablo 3 is one of the worst games ever?

First off, I log on... Go kill, expect there to be fun when I play a game I paid $60 for. And somehow... just somehow I get bored and log of f right after. This is not the kind of experience I want from a Blizzard game. But it just somehow happens.
Diablo 2 has almost nothing similar to Diablo 3... Cool-down added..., Weapon Swapping removed, gems/runes removed, skill system that let you have choices on your build... removed, stat system customization removed , reduced magic-find, all gone from the players eyes. What is the game?

There is a reason why RPG's are fun, but this simply is just a loot game that calls itself an RPG.

This is not an RPG game; it's an ARPG which is a hack n slash game with some lore which attributes to the RPG factor

If you find weapon swapping removal a core function of dissatisfaction I’m not sure how you could be happy with anything ever… Gear swapping still exists it just a manual process with potential being changed to a button swap.

Gems still exist... a sad version though, runes are in the game they changed how they worked, as for D2 they weren’t added till an expansion. You seem to be one of those I tried D2 when it came out 10 years later kind of people.

You choose what skills you want... derp

The illusion of choice... max vit stacking, yup so much choice is gone (gems is the new version of this BTW).

MF is King is this game WTF are you on.

Seriously go have no idea what you’re talking about... if anything these topics have been discussed at least a year ago, where have you been?
