For the record, I am 100% opposed to the RMAH and think that items purchased from there should come with a tag of some sort.

So you've never traded with someone before in Diablo? You're completely opposed to any sort of trading what so ever in RPGs?

You think a chatroom with 3 friends is same as guild with 100 people?

Then you will have a chatroom with 100 people, problem solved.

one thing that could be added for guild support is the ability to go "LFG" within your guild only to form co op games. One thing I would also mention is not everyone in my guild in WOW is someone I would put on my RealFriend's list. Would I run duengons with them, sure, but I reserve the realID list for people I want to talk to all the time.

This is what custom chatrooms are for though. You just have everyone enter that chatroom and then ask in there who wants to play with you. I do this with Starcraft 2 for custom games and it works out really well.

Having the game be b-net only will NOT stop hacks/bots/dupes/etc. It only took hackers 2 weeks to crack EA's online-only thing with Assassin's Creed 2 after it was released. All Blizzard is doing with this decision is alienating a portion of their fanbase(no matter how big or small that portion may be). This issue doesn't even affect me personally and I can see why some people would be PISSED.

I don't know how you think hackers are going to create a single player portion of Diablo 3 out of thin air. It doesn't work like that. Also, Assassins Creed 2 was made by UBISoft, not EA.

The Chinese farmers will now have to compete with everyone else on Bnet selling items, there will be a point were the companies can't go any lower, but the masses of individual people on Bnet still can, and will probably be more willing then a company.

And even if they match the prices, there is no guarantee that the item bought are from chinese farmers. Masses of people that play Diablo 3 will be selling items as well.

This is the reason why I can see Chinese farmers not even touching Diablo 3. I don't know why they would bother to be honest, there are plenty of other games where they completely control the market. There is going to be to much competition in Diablo 3 to make it viable for them.

I don't see what a guild system could add to a game like Diablo 3, that you can't just get from creating a chatroom for you and your friends, which will be available in Diablo 3 at launch.

It's surprising to see a Diablo forum be so in support of the new skill system. Every where else i've gone, people have been very hostile towards it and feel that it isn't going to work. I'm a really big fan of this new skill system and can't wait to see how it works in the beta.
