Knights of Caelo is a Guild Wars 2 guild. Our focus is fun with friends, which includes all content within Guild Wars 2. We set our aims high, and hope to grow quickly as we gain recognition. We are currently preparing for the launch of Guild Wars 2, and are playing the original Guild Wars earning HoM points toward our Guild Wars 2 characters.
What does our guild have to offer?
We want to give our members a home away from home, in a sense. A fun-filled environment among friends is how we'd like our guild to feel. We have many plans toward furthering that goal. Our leadership is prepared to organize many weekly and monthly events that are guild operated. Some such activities are a server-wide lottery, a guild RP night, and a whole lot more. Also, our recruitment process is designed to make sure all our members get along, to smoothly take in new recruits, and to keep drama at a minimum.
im interested a little in you guys, havnt decided wether im starting as a Barb or a Demon Hunter yet, but one of those two im a US east guy. Browsed your site for like 5 minutes did not see an application section in the forums.
Calmly put in the beta key and then play it over and over and over while sitting in my clans ventrilo server to answer any/all questions they have. PLUS of course I'd post things on here like screenshots and full detailed skill descriptions etc
With the Monk, I highly doubt they will bring back the Paladin. Too similar lore wise. Likewise with the Druid and the Witchdoctor, too similar style wise. And the Necromancer, while awesome, simply cannot be built upon gameplay wise so I don't see him either. The Amazon's slot of ranged weapons seems to be taken by the Demon Hunter, and the Wizard seems to be a copy of the Sorceress (updated as well), If a class came back, I'd expect it to be the Assassin or some variation thereof. Melee with traps or stealth seems to be missing. Then again they will probably just come up with something brand new, which is very possible.
Edit: I vote for the Archivist!
Agree +1 for the Archivist if they can make it serious lol
Paladin, Druid, And Necromancer have been in high demand on most of the forums which is no surprise seeing as the monk is a squishy version of the paladin, theres nothing like the druid, and the witch doctor is like a nature necromancer sorta thing?
I think there's a place for all three of them for sure and with such large demand within the community it would be cool to see a return.
As for some other classes? A small weapons class like a rogue would be cool but the combat would maybe be too much like a monk and the style would maybe be too much like a demon hunter?
They need to put in another melee class 1st to balance the 2 melee, 3 ranged thing goin on right now.
If you look at the gamescon picture where they show the lvl 1 and the lvl 60 the precision gets absurdly higher and yet the crit % drops. You're going to need to only use crit gear and pick up every passive to have a good enough chance to make it pay off but at the cost of who knows what...
Probably safe to say you can use all your passives for critical but i wouldnt try making an entire build around it especially for PvE... PvP could be a different story but I can already think up a whole bunch of counters to a nuke barb that are pretty simple and way more reliable
