posted a message on Private Loot = weird game
I would say add an option that allows you to show off your loot, maybe if I pick something up rare or above it displays a link in the chat window with the item name and if someone clicks it a more detailed window pops up. Now I don't know if items come up unidentified or not but if they do it could just put a link in chat that says "Rare Axe Unidentified" - Player 1. Then your friends can freak out and ask you what axe did you get. But I think it should be an optional feature so if I am in a game with random people I might not want them knowing what I got.

    Hypothetical:

I figure out how to give my single player Witch Doctor a super awesome chest piece. Yay. I do not have access to my multiplayer Witch Doctor to give said super awesome chest piece to.

    /Hypothetical

And that's why this argument doesn't hold water.

Ok how long did it take you to figure out how to do that??? And what ever tatics you used to do it would of gotten you how many bans if you were testing it online?? Now that you have an idea of what you need to do to make the hack work offline, means you have less work to do to make it work online.

posted a message on The Auction House Explained
I can't belive I haven't see this mentioned but I think one thing that people are missing the most is the option to be able to trade item for item. I know you still can but you have to do it in D2 sytle creating a game called "Godly Axe 4ur Godly Staff." Why can't they add a function to the auction house that puts the Item I want to trade up on the block, the kicker is I must be online for it to show up on the Block. So if me a buyer is looking through the AH and see someone has a Godly Axe for trade I can click on it and join that persons game or chat channel and we can hash out a trade just like we used to. Once in the game the trade window comes up w/ the item you want and then you can drag your offer over to the trade window and they can either accept it or deny it. Also you could have a comment field in the Trade Auction so you could give a brief description of what you are looking to get for that Godly Axe. That way it would cut down on someone entering the room and then seeing your a Wizard so you probably don't want a Bow for that Godly Axe.

This way you would have 4 options for getting gear.

1.) Kill the Monsters yourself and get it.

2.) Find the item you want on the Gold AH, this requires you having ingame Gold

3.) Find the item you want on the $$ AH, this requires you to have an e-balance

4.) Find the item you want on the Trade AH, this requires you to have gold, or any other item that you can trade.

I think this would be good for every type of player, It would definitely give the "Purist" the option to not have to sell that item for $$ and then buy something for $$. Even though money never came out of their pockets.

Come on Blizz please incorporate this version of item for item trade I think it would make everyone happy.
