It's pretty much terrible.
1) There is no incentive to create competition.
2) As far as "new builds" goes, it's more like an old build with mistakes in gearing/talents.

Honestly I would have actually liked this idea if you couldn't craft them.

Hi guys! We're back with updated guides for season 9. We apologize for the technical difficulties experienced last season! Transferred to a new server for this season. Boyfriend spent the last 3 months learning to manage our own linux server! Forgive us if there are any poorly implemented visuals that still exists in the site.
S9 Info free sets, conquests, what happens to your character after season.
Minor tweaks here and there, clarified some things about leveling and Leoric's Crown.
A step by step guide on how to quickly progress your character to get your Haedrig's Gift asap! It starts off with builds and recommendations for each 0,2,4,6 pieces of the free set, followed by how to most quickly and efficiently gain power from there.
For a complete listings, check out our build at Diablofans/brgprincess - official TeamBRG Dfans page.
These are loose predictions, I can't test them all to the highest level. Think of it as a rough barometer.
Crusader: Thorns Variants = Lights > Roland > Akkhan.
If anything, I wish to believe it beats thorns purely on the premise that I’m sick of thorns (LoN, I love Invoker). LoN & Invoker can break the 90’s. Lights can definitely get into the high 80’s, maybe more? Roland is still subpar, Akkhan's on its own is not counted.
Barbarian: Wastes >= Raekor >= MotE > IK.
Can Wastes really hold up? All of the sets have high power levels now, which is pretty good for the class. I’ve seen all sets put up 90+ finishes. Of course IK by itself if not counted.
Demon Hunter: FoK & LoN Variants > UE >= M6 > Sm >= Nats.
UE is still the absolute king of general purpose builds, as you can use it for farming and GR’ing. I’ve seen 90+ with FoK, UE, M6 (I think M6 may be more stable than UE in higher GR now..), and S2M2. I’m sure Nats can get 80+, and pure Impale can definitely break 80.
Monk: Raiment > Uliana => Inna > SWK.
Raiment still wrecks. The Inna buff actually makes me hopeful for its variant builds, which are good for midtier play. SWK is my personal choice for WORST GR SET, but best farming set by a lightyears. Raiment can pass 100, Inna. I’m sure can break 90. Uliana and SWK can definitely break the 80’s too. Overall a good spread of many viable choices!
Witch Doctor: Bats+Emptiness variants = Garg variants >= Jade > Zuni.
All builds are pretty good. Bats and Emptiness is hard to beat but hard to solo with. Gargs are still good. Jade can actually break 90. Zunimassa can actually pull some amazing DPS, but I haven’t seen a tryhard in recent memory. All of the sets are pretty strong.
Wizard: Archon variants (FB > TRE > Vyr) > Twisters > others.
Since pretty much every non-Vyr set can use many similar builds, it’s hard to rank it by set. Archon is still the undisputed king, capable of 100+ clears. While all we see is Firebird these days, I’m pretty damn sure TRE and Vyr can step into the world of 90’s. Annoyingly, the “Jank” builds can tackle 80+ surely using any of the strong wizard weapon pairs.
You're going to need to complete at least one set dungeon and master one dungeon to get to the stash tab objectives. Click on the links for our set dungeon builds: Builds in Dfans | Set Dungeon Guides.
Here’s the list for this season: This is roughly arranged in the order in which I would do them. Honestly, the first four, Curses > Avarice > The Thrill > Speed Demon, are roughly equal in difficulty. we got a good easy spread of conquests this season!
Well, that's about it. If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to leave your comments below!

"Which took 1000 hours to do" :' DQuote from Drahque
I didn't steal ANYONE's builds. All the Crusader & Wizard builds I made 100 % myself. I also predicted 75 % correct on the META, with Support WD (I made this build) + Energy Twister Wizard (I was also first to public this build) and Support barb (I also made this build).
If you go and look at crusader build, all the top 6 I made and also 3 of them nobody has ever seen for a long time, such as LoN Blessed Shield, you can find my video here ( https://youtu.be/YCHGyBM7mFQ ) and see I actually spend over an hour on just 1 build, and I made more than over 100+ d3planner calculations/builds to come up with this spreadsheet. The only part I didn't really do myself is the DH and Monk part. The DH part I thank Philos/Killstepz/fst for helping out with and the monk part I thank Chewningnom to help out with.
I never took 100 % credit for ALL of the builds. But I did theorycraft, calculate, simulate & OPTIMIZE all the builds, which took 1000+ hours to do. I

Well... guess we didn't saw the same Bots.
If well programed like the ones I saw, they can push a char to 100% effectivity. By this I mean using the right skills in the right moments for max dmg (Combos), keep max stacks up on skills/gems (Taeguk gem), skip mobs when is not worth killing them, dodge things like explosions, etc... and the list keeps going on and on.
A human can do that, sure... but not with 100% accuracy or 24/7. You will always fail or click the wrong skill sometime.
That's why I say Bots are OP.
Maybe a way for Blizz to find these cancer people, was to check accounts that are online and playing for more than 24h straight... I'm just saying...
The more and more I hear about it I'm starting to be in favor of it. It would at least work for seasonal botting and they can apply it to normal as well. They would have to make a monitor of some sort to reset on each new era that the play time can not be more than minus 10 hours of the season total after x days or something along those lines and then have it trigger an internal e-mail or ticket of some sort to prompt an investigation.
The only problem I can foresee is the details. How long is too long for a single person to play? What's the right choice for that? Does internal tooling allow for a hook into player stats to trigger an investigation notice? SO much stuff to think about when creating a tool like that with a lot of gray area.
And then comes the even bigger problem. If they ever implemented something like this they'd never be able to tell their customers about it. Because among the honest and do-good customer base is the people that still want to bot. Once you tell cheaters how a system works it gives them insight on how to reverse engineer it.
So the decision:
tell the customers to quell the outrage and overall please the customers that something was done about it at the cost of the system becoming cracked and having to constantly revamp it until you run out of options.
or
Don't tell the customers to allow the system to work efficiently as possible for as long as possible slowing the cracker creep at the cost of leaving customers outrageed for the better sake of the entire game eventually resulting in a lower player base.
Tough decision.

The issue is kind of two fold.
As some one that isn't using a bot you aren't going to be able to keep up on the leaderboards because RNG is RNG and the only way to work through that is to increase the opportunities you have at that RNG. So if people are botting privately (G/Rifts) it only affects the leaderboards and if they are botting privately, you'll never find them.
The other aspect is when a botter moves to a public forum and just leaves their game open to farm bounties, keys or regular Rifts. You can generally spot these pretty easily because the root game has a portal to the vault open. When a botter does this, they are now affecting the general public for their own gain, but at the same time they aren't hindering anyone. If you hop into a bounty run with a bot, they are going to speed through that run and make things easier for you as you are there to achieve the same goal: the most caches/rifts/etc in the shortest time. In this instance, generally speaking, your encounter with the bot is nothing but favorable so what is the reason you would have to speak out against the bot? Once you do so, you increase the chance to get an account banned and make your time playing the game worse because your public objectives now take longer to complete.
That's a very high level overview of the situation but now that bots can't rule an economy and make the game miserable for the majority of players, the only thing they can do to turn a monetary profit is to power-level and gear farm for people which are private activities and you'll never know, the public face of bots is fairly favorable.

Sorry to bring that back since those days it was quite annoying and it felt like it did no good to report them, since they are back the very next time you logged back in.

It is not even worth to try to compete anymore for ranking. A friend directed me to a website where there are tons of bots: Ghom bots, Bounty bots, Rift bots, of course Turbo Hud, advanced macros, etc... Call me naive but I did not think it was so extensive.
So I went to look at a well known Twitcher (Who got his account cancelled last season) and watched him play for a good 30 minutes doing 80+ GR. What an eye opener it was!!!
1 - The team of four NEVER ended up in a dead end while doing a GR. NEVER!
2 - It seems they knew exactly where was each pylon and each elite group.
3 - During the whole time I watched him, His eyes continuously went to his left. It took me a while to figure out what it was. I think he was watching one of his team mate steaming privately with Turbo Hud on.
4 - I noticed also quite some feasts of jumping VERY FAST out of trouble. He never was caught on the ball of an arcane. He and his team mates were able to jump very fast and each time out of ice explosion or ice orbs. I watched quite a few times Quinn and he is not THAT good like those players.
Anyway. I am just sayin here...

The game is not dead. There are a lot of people playing this season. Even more than last 2 seasons or so.

Thnx !
Nice guide!
It's really sad Diablofans didn't put any guide on front page this season.

*let me grab more popcorn*
Dfans... you just need to change the tab's name to "S6 guides". Simple! Nobody will get mad... not even quin.
4
I agree with Drahque.
Having a Quin's guide tab is really lame for the site

bots should burn in hell!
